We are fresh off of Panama Canal cruise

Hi there! I would truly love it if you could post the names of the officers that were on board? I see that you named the captain. We will be on the first Alaska cruise in just over a week, so we're dying to know who all is on this trip.

Would love details of the Frozen dinner menu if you have them. Thanks!!
Here is most of it. The pictures don't include quite all of the items but it is most. I only saved the parts that we actually ate. Honestly I didn't talk to anyone that really liked the menu, it was definitely different!

My DH really liked the scallop soup in a pastry and I loved the baby greens salad. We tried 3 of the 4 main entrée ' s and they were tasty but over cooked. I think they will have to work the kinks out since it had never been done before. I thought the desserts were pretty good. The waiters dressed I blue vests with snow flakes and the head waiters wore furry hats and special Norwegian looking jackets. It looked really awesome. They also gave everyone light up snowflake necklaces to be worn that night for the show.

what servers did you have? we were on 3 weeks ago and had JoJo and Milton and we loved them both! Love Andy and CD Clayton.... wow a week without the port would kind of annoy me a bit too... I did read up when it was going down that you guys couldn't get off the ship in PV... the news was pretty bad, lots of drug, street violence going on at the time so I think it was a good call by DCL... it's a shame because I think the normal locals really rely on that tourism... stupid drug gangs are ruining MX

We had Nino Malcom, server. He was very good. Our head server was the best we've ever had, Vitoria Mestre. I thought our stateroom host was really great too. He had a great sense of humor. One night he made an alligator with towels and put our stuffed Mickey Mouse in his mouth. We got quite a laugh out of that.

Ugh I was hoping you wouldn't say that. I am not an Andy fan. I know others like him a lot but I was hoping for someone else. Thanks for the response.

Crew assignments are always subject to change, but back in January I'd heard that Andy was splitting this contract between Wonder and Magic, so looking at your countdown ticker it's possible you may not have him for your cruise.

Captain Robert
Cruise Director: Clayton
Assistant CD: Leslie
Hotel Director: Ugo
Chief Enigneer: Walter

Hmm, that's all I can remember right now...

Regarding Puerto Vallarta - news reports said that a Mexican military helicopter was shot down by the cartel. Also, we met another family in Cabo from Jewel of the Seas and they skipped PV also. I think it was a good call by Disney. And I had no problem with another sea day as we were having such a good time!

Also, Disney was not the only cruiseline to skip Puerto Vallarta. Either RCCL or Princess (I was on both boards on cruise critic this past week and can't remember which I read it on) skipped as well.

Everyone would agree that we should not have gone to Puerto Vallarta but it doesn't mean it wasn't disappointing. I know there are people satisfied with all sea days and I will say, I don't regret going on this cruise one bit in spite of skipping a port. Don't get me wrong, this was still an awesome cruise.

To add to this, I know the avenger movie was popular but I don't think it should have been the main event for 2 nights.
I completely agree! We were not interested in this movie and it kept playing over and over at all the peak times. I never got to see the two movies I wanted to see because they were always during dinner.

There were some great extras though.... The pacific pool party was really fun to watch when the entire cruise staff ended up in the pool doing the conga! The a Deck Band was pretty awesome too!

Glad you had a good time :goodvibes

Would you mind sharing all of the films that were shown in the theaters please?

Does this only happen on the Panama sailings? The longest DCL cruise we have done was 7 nights on the Wonder and there was definitely not a pool party with crew!!
