We are finally going back, and no, we are NOT driving! A May/June 2013 PTR

Bummer the pages fell out and for the whole picture book fiasco. Glad you finally got a rep who could help you. What a saga!
I am really anxious to see how the new books turn out!

I can't remember reading where you got the design for that EPCOT passport book. Did you make it or get it somewhere? It's fantastic! :thumbsup2

I got the pages from a thread here on the DIS. I just did a search for Epcot Passports. She also has autograph book pages, they are all cute, it was hard to choose!

So glad the Walgreens saga is working out! I just know the books will be in perfect shape--the designs are awesome, and they will look great when you get intact books!! :thumbsup2

That picture is AWESOME!! It just looks like the definition of FUN!! :cool1:

BTW, I thought of you this week. . .bought some Mickey bandaids for our trip! They also had Toy Story ones, so I am thinking I'll have to go back for them! :rolleyes1

Glad it got worked out. That turned out so cute!
Thanks! Feeling a little anxious to see how the new ones look!

HA! That made me laugh - thanks!:lmao:

Ok, have not been on here much, not much to say! But today we hit

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:100 DAYS!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
Not that I am excited or anything...HA! We celebrated by watching Mulan, and we are going out to eat at a yummy Chinese restaurant in Omaha tonight (that is about an hour from our house in Lincoln) We are going to Omaha to deliver Girl Scout cookies. This is what my living room has looked like for the last week:

I am so ready to be done with it! We went around to the neighbors, and now only have a couple of cases left, so I would say we were successful! On the Disney side of things, I got a new camera strap cover:
IMG_8244_zpse8e33e00.jpg

Super excited about it! And, my books came! They are PERFECT, I could not have asked for them to be better!

We had a fun Valentine's Day, and the girls received these from us:

And I did a bit more shopping, yes, I know I said I thought I was done...but they had free shipping, so I got these for the girls:

Planning wise, I also scored tickets for LaNouba - this will be a surprise for the girls, very hard not to tell them! I think that is all I have to report for now, hope everyone is having a great weekend! I am off to Omaha to deliver Girl Scout cookies and eat some Chinese food to celebrate
:banana::banana::banana::banana:100 DAYS:banana::banana::banana::banana:
Tomorrow we will be in the double digits!:yay:

A big YAY!!!! for 100 days !! That's awesome!! Have a wonderful time at the restaurant tonight!

Where did you find the camera strap? TOO cute!!! I also love the girls' gifts and swimsuits!!

Have super fun today! Tomorrow is double-digit dancing day!! :cool1:

Thanks! We had a good time. The restaurant was super busy though, because the state wrestling tournament was going on, so we waited for awhile!

The camera strap I got off Etsy here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/rileyjanecustomsShe has some really cute stuff. Lanyards, small camera straps, etc. I was so excited when I saw that stuff we got the girls at Wal Mart. I was wanting to get some larger water bottles for the girls! Their swimsuits came yesterday, they are so much cuter in person! Can't wait to give them to the girls, they will be part of their arrival gifts.
Ooh, La Nouba!?! Sounds like an AWESOME surprise!
I am really excited. I was also so surprised when DH suggested it. Although, his co-worker needs to stop suggesting things for us to do, unless he wants to start paying for everything, or add some days on for us!
Have super fun today! Tomorrow is double-digit dancing day!! :cool1:

So glad to be in the double digits, I need to make my countdown calendar, I only have 65 days to do it! :) My next project is mousekeeping envelopes, and the girls outfits, oh and their autograph books and a couple more hairbows!

Joining in to read all about your planning! My trip will actually be overlapping with yours. Getting there on June 6 with 11 others. Guess who the planner of the group is? With 25+ visits under my belt I am enjoying the challenge. I love planning and its even more fun when 7 out of the 12 of us have never experienced the magic and 2 others haven't been there in 20 years.

:welcome: Sounds like a fun trip to plan! I am kind of excited that it is just my little family this trip. Every trip I have been has been with a larger group, so this will be refreshing! Hope you enjoy following along with my plans!

So I have always scoffed at those resort and ADR changers, I just could not believe that you would put so much work into choosing a resort or a restaurant, and carefully crafting your days spent in and out of the parks, only to change your mind!?:confused3 It never made any sense to me! Well, time to eat my words...No we are not changing resorts, but I have changed my ADR's a bit, well, just took one away, and added one, so not a complete overhaul!

Originally, we had our final day like this: 10:00am ADR at 1900, 4:15pm ADR at LTT, and Dessert Party. The more I looked at our schedule, the more I thought how crazy it was. I mean, how many people go eat at a dessert buffet after consuming a large Thanksgiving dinner? (which is basically what LTT is!) Not this girl. DH said he could probably handle it, but I don't think I want to take a chance! Especially if we don't get seated right away!

So, here is what I did, I cancelled the LTT, and I think we will probably eat a QS somewhere around 2 or 2:30, something small, like split a nutella waffle? :) Then, if we get hungry closer to dinner time, we could split another QS meal, or get a snack to tide us over until the dessert awesomeness.

What this did to our schedule was open up another TS credit, so I was able to get 'Ohana for breakfast on our departure day! Score! We were already planning on paying for one TS meal OOP, so we could have done that, but since I was able to get 'Ohana at 90 days out, I jumped on it! I think we will keep this meal a surprise for the girls. They love Lilo and Stitch, and I think this will be a fun way to end our vacation! We won't get to sleep in that morning, and we will have to check out a little early, but I know we will not need to eat again until much later in the day, which will save us money in the long run! Now watch, we won't be able to get the Dessert party rez...:rotfl:

Today we are at 84 days, getting closer! I have been busy crafting and creating again! I purchased all of the tanks and t-shirts for making the girls' shirts, just need to wash them and all of the fabrics, and get them cut out and attached! Next week, I will be going to my MIL's to use her sewing machine to make their dresses, and maybe a skirt or two, since my machine is broken :(

Meanwhile, I have ordered a couple of things. I am having Star Wars skirts made for the girls, and the gal even does matching hair bows with the Star Wars fabric! Those should be done soon, but I did order this heat transfer vinyl for the matching shirts:

It is a Minnie mouse head with a blue and white bow, and the Jedi symbol! :thumbsup2:yoda:

I also made my pressed penny tubes. Each tube holds enough quarters and pennies for 30 pressed pennies. I made two more tubes, but I don't think we will need them - if anyone is going at the same time as us, I can give them to you! Just let me know! They are the same as mine:

I also made my LGMH, just need to laminate it, and put it on my bag!

I have been working on my daily plans, and let me tell you, it is stressful! I am just thinking about planning my mornings, and leaving the afternoons open, unless we have an ADR, or need to be somewhere! I have done the first two days, and that took me all day yesterday. What I am doing is not just touring plans, but figuring out what time we need to wake up, be at the bus stop, leave the parks, etc. I already realized yesterday that we probably won't see the parade at AK, because both days we have somewhere we need to be, like HDDR at 6:15, and La Nouba/DTD by 6, earlier if we want to eat dinner there! Ugh. I guess we could just park hop one afternoon just to see it? :confused3

Other than that, it is pretty quiet around here. I bought some travel sized items for our carry-ons, like toiletries in case our checked bags don't make it in a timely fashion! I will have lots of pics after my sewing session next week!

Love your pressed penny tubes!! I need a tutorial! :thumbsup2

Me Too!!!

Ok, it is super easy! Just go here: http://s143.beta.photobucket.com/user/donatalie/library/Pressed%20Penny%20Tubes/Large%20Tube%20Labels and save the files you want to your computer, then print them out. I did a test print in B & W, and I am glad I did, because they were a bit big, so I had to re-size them! Then, cut out and glue to your mini m&m tubes! I also wrapped them in packing tape to make them a bit more waterproof. I layer the quarters and pennies, and they hold enough for about 30 pressed pennies, but I think I might have already said that... :)

Loving all your crafting. We did pressed penny tubes last year and they were very cute but I will say you would be surprised how heavy 4 full pressed penny tubes make your bag. I had made a tube for each child with their name on it. We got smart about 3 days into the trip and started just carrying one of the tubes.

I also made containers for the pressed penny money. You make them out of Mentos tubs.

The pressed pennies fit in them perfectly. Here is an example of one of mine:

I got my cover from one of the Designers on the creative board.

Yeah, they are already filled, so I know how heavy they are! I am only planning on bringing one tube at a time!

That's funny! I saw those somewhere else, and bought some gum today! I will have to check over on the creative board, because I did not know what I was going to cover them with - thanks! :)

I have been busy crafting the last few days. Sub jobs have been non-existent, so I have had a lot of time on my hands! My iron and silhouette have been getting a workout lately! I cut all of my Minnie heads for the girls' outfits, except for two. I have to wait and see what fabric I have left after making their dresses on Monday. Otherwise, this is what I have finished so far:

These are completely done! Woo hoo!

As are these:

These just need bows, the Minnie heads are already ironed on. I am making these for our departure day breakfast at 'Ohana! The bows are turquoise and coral. I don't know why they are upside down, they are not on my Photobucket? Oh well.

And this is the mock-up I did with paper for the next shirts. If I have enough fabric left, the initials will be red with white polka dots, the ear hats will be black, and they will have a red bow.

Right now, we are watching The Three Caballeros, one of our last Disney movies from our list. I think we just have Honey I Shrunk the Kids left! We watched The Swiss Family Robinson yesterday, and A Bug's Life on Wednesday! Once we watch Honey..., we will have watched all of the movies that are represented at the parks! The only two the girls will not watch yet, just because I think they are too young are Indiana Jones, and POTC.

I think that is all I have for an update for now. We head to Omaha tomorrow afternoon after church to make the girls' dresses! Pray for nice weather, we have a chance for some yucky snowy mess coming through tomorrow just when we are supposed to be on the road. It is only an hour drive, but yucky weather can make it seem like a lot longer! Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
