:dance3: Hello everyone

Just wanted to check-in and say we had a wonderful short break over the weekend in Disneyland Paris.

We had a weekend of 'firsts'

Our first stay at the Explorers was :thumbsup2 great. I really like the hotel and in particular it's children's facilities were great :woohoo:

We met losts of characters we'd never met before - 3 from the Hunchback of Notre Dame , Figaro from Pinnochio , Lilo and Abu from Aladdin.

We rode Crush's coaster  for the first time and nearly went  Never again !! It made me almost as queasy as I remember Rock n Roller Coaster making me feel . You can tell I'm not a coaster rider

Jessica also went pony trekking at the Cheyenne which she really enjoyed :lovestruc and we had our first Steakhouse Brunch.

We also met a girl who's sister was 'Pluto' at the candle ceremony whilst we were waiting to watch it. Lots of the characters came over to see her and as she was standing next to Jess she got to see lots of them close up and even got a special cuddle from Daisy :grouphug:

A definite trippie to follow.... :cool1:

sounds like you had a great time. cant wait to hear more. We are also fans of Explorers

Looking forward to hearing more about your trip - it sounds wonderful!

Sounds like a great trip. Would have tried the Explorers for our extra day but it was far too expensive really for the day we needed

How did you find the weekend crowds as opposed to your normal midweek visits?

We are maybe going to go for 4 days next April, but 2 of them would be over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) so wondered what you managed to get done with minimum lines on those 2 days?

Welcome back, look forward to hearing all about it :cool1:

We stayed at the Explorers and thought it was fab too...

Saturday was busy but we expected that and only did shows -High School Musical and Animagique and spent the rest of the time outside the parks. We went pony treking at the Cheyenne and swimming at the Explorers as well as having a good wander around the village.

Sunday was not too bad at all. We rode Peter Pan(using Fastpass) , Casey Junior , Storybook Cruise and IASW within an hour -hour and a half. We then met a few characters (Lilo and Stitch from the character express) and queued to meet Minnie and Donald (both around 20 mins)before heading to the village for lunch. We spent the afternoon in the studios and managed Cars and flying carpets and High school musical as well as meeting some characters in the front lot in about 2 - 2 and half hours.

Monday nearly everything was a walk on. Our longest queue was Crush at 25 mins.

The good thing about the weekend is that the parks were still open late (10pm on Sat and 9pm on sunday).

I definitely thought sunday was quieter and particularly later on.:thumbsup2
