WoooooHoooooo!...Foodies reporting to foodies!
I'm tuned in! :happytv:

We went to Riverside Grill on 6/13. We got there at 9:45pm for a late dinner due to flight delays and kids loving our room and not wanting to leave it.

This meal consisted of me DD12, DS10 and a cousin 14.

As far as counter service goes, this was definitely one of our favorite.
We had a kids meal cheese pizza, an adult bcn CB, and 2 pasta your ways.
My daughter and I don't eat meat, but do eat seafood. We had the shrimp in our pasta with alfredo and veggies mixed in.

All of us liked our meals, my son barely ate his. He had a headache and ate the reat of his meal for breakfast. The pasta was a good portion.

The bill came to $105. It included 4 refill mugs.

We had lunch at Sassagoula on 6/14. It was cute inside. It was busy and the food does take awhile. Three of us ordered the Shrimp Po Boys. This was a big serving. It came with a side of macaroni salad or chips. I had picked macaroni salad, but was not fond of it and wished I had went with the chips. My son had Spaghetti and meatballs. He said it was good, but barely any sauce. We all had leftovers.

There were 2 reasons why we came to Sassagoula. One was so I could use my TIW card and the other was to try the beignets. We were so full, but could not leave without them. We ordered 6 to go. We ate them later, but they were so good. If staying at Riverside, it is very much worth the trip over to try them.

Our bill came to $37 with TIW discount.

On 6/15, we ate at the Plaza for lunch. There were 4 of us. The staff was very friendly. We had never eaten here before, but so glad we tried it. It was quiet and nice atmosphere. The food was very good. My daughter and I had the vegetarian sandwich. It was definitely one of the better vegetarian options on property. My son had a cheeseburger kids meal, that he said was very good. My niece had the steak and cheese which she liked a lot. We ordered a coke, sprite, diet coke. We were to full for dessert. We will definitely go here again and I do recommend at least trying it once. The cost is great compared to other table service options.

TIW cost $51.37 with tip.

We visited on 6/15. It was good, but not any better than our local bakeries at home. It was a nice break though from the parks. We tried the fruit tart, the Oreo cupcake, éclair and a Neapolitan. My son said the cupcake was to sweet and kind of dry. My niece loved the fruit tart. I thought the éclair was good, but not great. My daughter liked her Neapolitan.

Cost was $16.58

We also had snacks at Aloha Isle. We decided to try Dole Whip Floats. They were great. It is a nice option in the hot weather.

Cost for 4 was 21.26

6/15

I honestly don't know why we tried this. We were hungry and were on the boardwalk, so we just did it. I would not do it again. It was not bad, but just not a good choice f. It was to heavy, but that was to be expected. It was good for what it was, but just not for us. We had the footlong basket. My son did not like the hot dog. My daughter had the mozzarella stick basket, which she liked. My niece had the pulled pork basket, which she said was ok. I had the fried ravioli basket, which was ok. We also shared corn nuggets. The price was good. If you liked fried food and are trying to save money, it is an ok option.

Cost $41.00
