Tink33, kpeterso, ginarella, and I are here with a few thousand people lining Main St and waiting for the stars who will be here in less than half an hour. They gave away free buttons - we got one - and free hats - ginarella and her dds and kpeterso all got one ... Yea!

We are being entertained and took the pirates pledge ... Aaarrrrr.

It has been fun so far.

That is so awesome! Sounds like y'all are having a great time. I'm jealous, I love me some Orlando Bloom. You lucky ducks! Make sure to take pictures! pirate:

Curious, how are you on Dis? LOL.

Are you near the MSN lady?
This is what I was thinking. I'm just picturing someone holding their laptop typing furiously while waiting for the big moment. I would love to see a premier, but detest the crowds. Have fun!! Oh and how 'bout some pics when you get back? pirate:

That must be so cool to be there in person!

I'm watching along on the live MSN webcast and it's been amazing all that they've shown so far including Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, who have just come by the MSN lady.

I can't wait to ride PoC this summer and see the movie!!

I've been watching the podcast too -- it just makes me that much more envious of you all. The red carpet looks like a blast! Johnny and Orlando seemed to have spent a lot of time interacting with the crowd. Hope you will tell us lots more about your experience and share pixs.

The podcast also showed some of the animatronics in the ride; it was very interesting watching Johnny Depp check out the animatronic Jack Sparrow. Hope we can make it back down before the end of the summer to check out the ride.

I watched the podcast on msn for the full 2.4 hours! I bet you guys are TIRED. I wanted to come....for my birthday....and was all set BUT on Tuesday I stepped in this huge rusty nail and it went straight through my foot. So, even with a tetanus shot, they told me I wasn't going ANYWHERE!

Hope you had a wonderful time! could anyone who was at the park during the day stay????? In my youth I would have been quickquick over the partition and pretending to be a.....red carpet invitee. Can't believe that M. Manson got a ticket...ewwwwww.

The MSN broadcasters were pretty terrible...I think they need a DIScaster, don't you? pirate:

Post photos for the rest of us....please!

They are probably on a PDA or something. I know with my PDA I can access most websites and can read and post new threads. Maybe next time I am there I will start a thread while I am riding on a ride!

As I was watching, I was thinking Mary Jo or Tink33 would have been much better.

I have also been watching the Podcast! I thought it was hillariouse when Johnny Depp was interacting with his "double" in the barrel! pirate: he is such a natural! also, he always seems very humble when he's talking to people and signing autographs. Orlando Bloom is SUCH a cuty...too bad he's so darn YOUNG! :rotfl2:

I wasn't at DL unfortunately, but I did watch the premiere via the web and MSN.. oh wow..I wish I could have been there to see Johnny up close.. ;)I've never been to DL OR WDW.. I watched the entire thing and I thought it was cool that they showed Johnny riding the ride and interacting with the Capt'n Jack AA(how cute is Johnny, eh? I loved that) Lucky, lucky to all of you who were there, but I guess I am lucky I got to see any of it at all.. I love the 'net sometimes.. ;) Oh..and if you want to see pics.. I got some, but they are mostly of Johnny..I'll warn ya now..LOL...

POTC2 Premiere Pics

Oh Johnny ! pirate: Well you sure made my morning :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc Where do I sign up??? Thank you for my new refridgerator decorations, ooouuuu I hope it doesnt "melt"the food in the fridge?????!!!!

Oh! How fun. I watched it on MSN too. That lady was a moron :confused3 When she did that TERRIBLE interview with Orlando Bloom and then said 'I had a thousand questions I wish I could have asked him!!!' Um, then why didn't you ask him anything :furious:

The Marylin Manson interview was a riot though :smokin:

We'll be there Tuesday...I can't wait! (though I'm not looking forward to the heat and crowds....we're true SoCal pass holders and usually only go mid week and during great weather :lmao: ).

I was there too, but didn't get to see too much. We were at the other end by the castle and they didn't expect it to go that long, so they had no lights set up. It was so dark you could barely see the stars. Then since they had JD and OB down on Main street so long, they were two hours behind schedule. It was 9:30 or so before he flew by us! I think I saw him for 3 seconds. We did get a free movie Soundtrack though for answering some trivia questions! Almost wished I stayed home and watched it online too!

Oh my goodness! He was a crack up. The lady seemed to have no idea how to handle him. My husband and I kept on rewinding it just to see him. :rotfl:

I agree!
Then when she did the interview with JDepp she talked to him for a few seconds then basically said OK, interview over, see ya. WTH, I would have kept him there talking as long as he was willing to stay!

pppiglet, I wondered about that. I know folks had their spots staked out as soon as the gates opened, then watching the podcast I couldn't believe how crowded the red carpet was. I wondered how many folks actually got a good view of the stars.

Can't wait to see the movie. I sure hope it's good. Most sequels are such a disappointment.
Anyone heard much about this one yet?
