Yes, you can really pet the dolphins and feed the sea lions! I've been wanting to go back to Sea World for a long time but my sister (the one who's not coming on this trip) never wants to so we thought it would be the perfect chance to go.

9 days to go!!! Woo hoo! Of course I feel like I'm starting to get a cold now. Oh well, I guess I'd rather it be now than when we go...

Well, at this time next week we will be in DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

As we get closer and closer I'm starting to worry about our flight being cancelled again. We were lucky in December that the weather was OK but the stupid flight attendant rest regulations...I just don't want to lose a whole day like we did last time.

But on the bright side!....
1.) I was feeling crafty the other night and made a cute little journal to take along with me. Hopefully I'll actually be able to write some notes down in it, haha. I'll post a picture of it later.

2.) We're planning on buying our Sea World tickets before we go since they're $10 cheaper online than they are at the gates. I also see on our computer desk that my dad printed out a map for driving to Sea World.

I'm sooooo excited...I have a one-track mind right now...next week can't come fast enough!

I love spring training. Grew up in FL going to the games. It was so much fun!

Your scrapbook is beautiful. I have several "unfinished" scrapbooks. Now I am going to work on the Disney one today.

We love the pressed pennys too! They have lots of machines at SeaWorld too! Including some penguin ones outside their exhibit! They also have machines at the Rainforest Cafe.

That was the one thing I "forgot" last trip. To print out and bring the Disney penny machine list.

Here's some pixie dust that you get to ride Toy Story Mania. I am really looking forward to that.

I love all the trails at Animal Kingdom. Enjoy all the animals at AK & SW and ignore anyone that may be bored.

I never heard about that. Also, do they change the locations of the machines? possibly update or add new ones? Maybe kids should get into this next time around?

Aww, thanks! I'm surprised I actually finished that scrapbook so fast, but when you don't have a job...

I found a website that had pressed pennies from all over the country and saw they had some at Sea World. I will definitely have to check them out.

I'm crossing my fingers we get to ride TSM...if only we got there a couple days earlier we'd get to preview as DVC members.

Oh, trust me, I plan to enjoy all the animals.

Thanks! Believe me, my other sister wants to come but she won't be done with school and let's just say my parents have never liked it when we had to miss school for trips. My mom's just not a fan of traveling in general for whatever reason.

The pressed pennies are really cool! There is a list here of the current pennies. I think they might add new pennies but I'm not really sure.

3 DAYS TO GO!!!!



Ummm...still haven't done any packing yet...lol. I'm debating whether or not to call in for Tuesday for subbing and say I can't work so I can get my stuff together. Also, Claire and I have been wanting to go to the museum for a while now, and since she's done with school it might be a good time to go. Hmm...

As of right now there's only one thing standing in the way of me and our trip...I have an interview tomorrow for a full-time teaching position for next year. I'm happy I have an interview but I'm SOOOOO nervous! It's in a district that I would really like to work in but I am no good at interviews. I've been trying to anticipate questions they might ask and prepare answers...but I know I'll still be nervous, especially since I know there's going to be a few other teachers there along with the principal. So wish me luck!

Thank you both! I just got back from my interview...I think it went fairly well. It was sort of crazy because there was about 10 people on the panel! Apparently they're going to interview a few more people but I should know either way by the first week of June. I'm crossing my fingers...

Now I need to go get packing!

Great PTR! It's so funny to read because we have so much in common...I also student-taught last semester, and am now back teaching at the same school. I'm also a sub, but long term because one of the first grade teachers is out on leave for the rest of the year. My fingers are crossed that you get your full-time position!

I also love to animal watch, but have to convince my family who thinks it is boring! Glad to hear I'm not alone...sounds like you have some great plans for this trip, you must be soooo excited!! I am dying to stay at AKL, you have to do a TR so we can hear all about it!

I can't believe we leave tomorrow!!!!! It's so crazy, I feel like we were just there but at the same time it feels like it was so long ago.

I actually got two calls for subbing this morning (one of which was at the high school I went to...I could've gone to school with my sister, HAHAHA! ) but turned them down so I can just get everything together and relax. I checked the status of the flight that left today (the one we'll be on tomorrow) and it said that it was on time and scheduled to arrive just a little late. I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow in Milwaukee so hopefully it won't mess anything up (ETA: OK, guess they took the rain out of the forecast, yay!). Ever since what happened in December I'm kind of worried they're going to cancel our flight again seeing as it was for such a stupid reason. I'll just keeping thinking positive thoughts, after all I will be in Disney World soooo soon!

As I mentioned a couple days ago I made a little journal for this trip (I know, kind of dorky, but hey, I'm one of those creative people!). So I dug out some of my Disney scrapbook papers and made this:

We'll see if it actually gets used.

I can't wait to do a TR when I get back (not that I want our trip to be over!).

AHHH I know, I am super excited, and finally packed. Our boarding passes are printed out and ready to go. It's crazy to think that at this time tomorrow I'll be at a Disney park (though we still haven't decided what we're going to do for sure ). Ohhhh it's gonna be a long night trying to sleep!
