wdw xmas parade, deccies and osborne lights..

does anyone know when all these start please? we are doing a bit of planning at the mo and wanted to know the earliest date the xmas stuff at wdw is up/starts!!

We flew back nov 15th last year and the decoratsions goup couple days after the halloween parties end, osborne lights started around the 12th november

The parade im not sure on sorry

The Christmas parade and the Osborne Lights normally start around about the 2nd week of November. The decorations start going up bit by bit around that time as well and are all up by Thanks Giving..

We LOVE this time of year and we're going 18th of November..

The parade we saw last year was the same as it always is when we went in oct in 2011?

I know at the christmas parties the parades are different but the afternoon one was the same

We go 20th thisyear as i want to show the girls the gingerbread house at gf as it was just going up as we left

That gingerbread house is just so fab...there is also another one in Epcot in the cafe next to the American Adventure, its a smaller one the the GF but still huge!

We flew home on the 10th Nov, The first Xmas party and the first Osbourne lights were on the 9th, last night before we came home.
We planned on seeing the Castle lit then shooting across to see Osbourne lights but thankfully the castle was lit the night before so it made it easier for us.

Great thanks for the info, so its in the second week of november most things are up and running!
we have a wedding to go to in mexico around the beginning of November so we are trying to squeeze in a few days at wdw to see the xmas parade etc before we come home
