Try hosting your pictures at Snapfish.com or Photobucket.com. Once you have your photo posted. Right click on the photo, select properties, copy the URL code. Then here in your post Paste the URL, and put this at the beginning

of the URL. This will make the picture actually appear in your post.

You should be OK with hosting your photos on phanfare. The photos I post are linked to my phanfare album.

I don't know if you clicked on the 'insert link' (globe icon) or 'insert photo' (mountain with sun square).

I'm at work and I don't have phanfare set up on this desktop- it is at home so I'll try to help. First got to your photo in phanfare- the workspace on your desktop. Right click on the photo to get a menu pop up. Look for something that says 'copy link' or something like that. Click on that and an address window will pop up with the address of your photo. You will have the option to click 'save to clipboard'- select that. Now go to the DIS thread where you want to post, start a post and click the 'mountain with sun square' to insert photo'. Hit paste and the address will populate for you. When you hit submit- your photo should be there rather than the link.
