What order would you put these activities in?

How many days are you planning for DHS? Sorry, I can't remember.

Run for Toy Story Mania first thing. We normally get fastpasses and then hope in line to ride. One of my favorite rides. Have gotten there 30 minutes after park opening before and the line was already 45 minutes and FP's were for 11:45. But you have probably read about this. I guess you should roam around the backlot from there. If you do get FP's for TSM, once the time has arrived for it, run and get FP's for either RnR or ToT. Then maybe you can ride the other ride while waiting for FP time.

Can't really help with the shows, we have only seen LMA, but have always been able to walk in and considering the time of year you are going, I think you will be ok.

Is backlot going to be open when you get there, I know it was closed for refurbishment?

The Great Movie Ride is nice to do in the afternoon. Nice long indoor ride.

Also, Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set can get really crazy. I've seen a lot of parents a little panicky because they can't find their little ones. They have always found them, but there are so many places they can run around in it is easy to lose track.

Hope this helps a little.

Here's what we would do:

For this park watching your times guide will be critical as you are planning on 5 shows: Beauty, Playhouse, Little Mermaid, Lights, Motors, & Fantasmic. You will have to work the shows around the other attractions to fit them all in.

Be at the park at rope drop. Me and the kids would head to Toy Story and DH would get fast passes ToT. You should get an early return time. DH would meet us at TSM and get in line with us there.

After TSM you should have a perfect opening for your fast pass. I would then head to ToT/RnR. The waits for these will get longer as the day goes on. You could get the fastpass for RnR while Cory is doing ToT. When Cory is done with ToT you should be able to do RnR with Baby swap.

Since you are there, I would try to do Beauty & The Beast.

Next I would try to fit in Playhouse and Little Mermaid. They are close to one another.

Next I would shoot for LMA, then Honey, Backlot and finally Great Movie Ride.

You would only have Fantasmic left I think which has to be last because it isn't shown until dark.

Whew....that's a lot but doable.

Its for 6 nights, though I've changed it a little. We're taking 7 t-shirts,1 long sleeved shirts, 2 hoodies, 6pr shorts, 2 pr jeans, 1 skirt, 8 panties, 7 pr socks. I decided if something happens and we need more I'll head to the laundry for a quick load.

WOW, thanks for putting it together like that, very helpful. We'll have one day, but it will be a UG best park (for whatever that's worth). We'll also have our last morning and early afternoon on Monday where we can head wherever to see what we missed or want to see again so we might be able to do something then too.

Thanks! We are planning just one day for DHS, but our last day we have the entire morning until about 2:30-3pm to do stuff so we'll be able to do whatever that day. I think combining your advice with leamom2princesses advice will help us have a successful day!

Hi there! As far as the list I don't really know what you have already picked up so it's hard to add anything. My brother lives in Orlando and talking with him yesterday a.m. his allergies are killing him right now because everything is starting to bloom. If you have allergies or Molly has allergies you may want to bring some Benadryl or something along those lines. Personally the pediatrician suggested I give some to the girls before our flight and it worked nicely.

As far as the order of attractions I'll have to work on that.

Thanks for the allergy advice. All three of us have mild seasonal allergies and we've been stuffy/sneezy here at home so we'll definitely take some Claritin and Benedryl with us!

OOOOOHHH you are so close now. If we don't hear from you before you leave have a great, safe, super fun, trip. :goodvibes

You'll hear from me! I have a lot of planning to do even still. We went shopping last night to pick up most of our last minute things and now I need to do the last of the packing and get our carry-ons put together. I still have to go to my internship Monday though which really stinks, but they want me there since I'm going to miss Monday of week after next when we'll be heading home.

Hiya
You may not have many readers but you have one of my favorites!!:) We are also going for the first time and our youngest is 2.5-sounds a lot like Molly! The Minnie backpack is adorable. We have a monkey one but Cayley runs so fast that she often gets tripped up. Your plans and lists look good. Not long at all until you go.

I'm glad you are enjoying my PTR! It won't be long until it's a trip report! I always enjoy reading trip reports of families with kiddos the same age as Molly more than others because it gives me an idea of what to expect :-P

We are on the downward slope!

I've got mine and Cory's suitcase packed with the exception of toiletries that aren't travel sized and socks/undies because I have a big laundry load of those going right now. Molly is pretty much completely packed as well. All I need to get in her suitcase is her shoes. We ended up buying a carry-on sized suitcase that will be hers because we didn't want to check two full sized suitcases. Continental charges $25 for a second checked bag ($15 for the first!) so that is the reason why.

It looks like we'll be taking one full sized suitcase (checked), one carry-on suitcase, 1 carry-on backpack and a gate checked stroller. Not too bad I don't suppose.

The backpack is going to be full of Molly-entertainment. We have her Kid-tough DVD player and a small DVD case full of her movies. We're taking:

Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham (the old, short one from the 70's, its so cool!)
Wall-E
Finding Nemo
Monster's, Inc.
The Little Mermaid
Horton Hears a Who!
101 Dalmations
Sleeping Beauty
The Incredibles (or Uncredibles as she says it :lmao: )
Elmo in Grouchland

We are also heading to Vintage Stock, a used entertainment place, later today to see if we can find Cinderella and Snow White on DVD because as of now we only have them on VHS and they are two of her absolute favorites!

I've got a Word document made to print out all of our ADR #s and daily plans and all so I need to do that.

We also need to go to the bank on Monday some time to get some cash in $1's so we'll be able to tip Mousekeeping, and to get a roll of bright new pennies for smushing.

Cory just figured out how to take the wheel off of the stroller so now he's trying to figure out how to attach it to the backpack since its a little big for the pockets, what a goober :rotfl2:

I should also clean the house today and tomorrow since I have to work at my internship Monday, BOO!! It won't be a full day, I should be done by 2pm or so but still...its just an injustice!

...alright, pity party over. We can resume the PTR!

I'm sorry that you have to go to the internship but it's not a whole day so hopefully it will go by quickly. Hope you get the DVD's you're looking for. I hate housework. It gets in the way of trip planning. :rotfl2:

Two days until we leave!

The weather is looking flawless:
http://www.wftv.com/5dayforecast/index.html

Sunny and near 80 everyday...it doesn't get much better than that.

At this time a week from now I'll be at DHS, but mourning the fact that its almost time to go home, but two days from now I'll be hopefully trekking through Orlando airport to find the Magical Express!

I still need to print our e-tickets to fly out, get our luggage tags on the suitcase, get all the docs tucked into the backpack, get the socks and undies packed...and I'm sure many other things I need to think of :-)

Okay, less than 24 hours till we're flying to WDW! I'm getting pretty dang excited.

My day at work went by fairly quickly and here it is 1:45 and I'm home already so that's a good thing. Now to do all the last minute things!

Hope you have a fantastic time!

Have a great trip Debby! Can't wait to see pics and your trip report! :cool1:

Have an awesome trip!

Thanks everybody! DD is getting really excited and has talked about Disney ALL day. Tomorrow we'll be up about 7:30-8:00am and MIL is taking us to the airport at 9:15. We'll be at the airport by 9:45 and hopefully everything will go smoothly. Our flight leaves at 11:25 to Houston and then our next flight is at 1:35 to Orlando. Our flight lands at 4:45 Orlando time so hopefully we'll be checking into ASMo by 6:30 or so and our WeGoShop order is set to be delivered at 7pm.

We were planning on dining at Spoodles but we canceled and we're just going to have CS and explore DTD tomorrow evening!

I was just outside and you will have a lovely evening tomorrow, the weather is perfect. DTD should be wonderful and I would think since it is not a weekend, not busy!

HEY! Just found your PTR. We'll be there at the same time although it looks like we'll be at different parks different days. Have so much fun! I love your DD's Snow White outfit - she looks adorable!

have a great trip! Cannot wait to hear all about it when you get back :)
