Okay, I am more like a born again WDW virgin, I went once 18 years ago for 2 days (just did AK when it was brand new, and MK), but that was so long ago, and everything is so different now.
I am actually a Disneyland Resort (California) veteran (grew up out West, now live in TX.). I'm taking the family (DH, DS-8, and DD-5) for the first time this June 8-13th. I've been to Disneyland at least 50 times in my life, my kids have been about 5 times, although my daughter only remembers our visit last Summer, and she wasn't afraid to try anything (although after TOT, she was terrified, and she didn't really like Space Mountain). My son liked TOT, but was afraid of BTM, Splash Mountain, and The Matterhorn. Kids change a lot in a year, so who knows what they will be afraid of come this trip.
This is kind of a "getting acquainted" trip, so it's only a 5 night trip, and we have 5 day (non-hopper) tickets. We're also staying at the Pop Century, because I figure with the kids at this age, this is the kind of place they'll enjoy, and maybe we'll splurge next time.
We were thinking of doing one day at AK, one day at Epcot, and one day at HS, and 2 at MK.
So, for the WDW veterans out there, what's your best piece of advice for us newbies?
