Our family has been to WDW several times but just booked our first visit to DL. We are staying at the GC 10/25 - 10/30 and plan on getting 4 day park hoppers. I'm a big planner but have no idea where to start with this. Please point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Get to the parks early, 15-30 minutes before Early Magic Hour starts. Take a break in the afternoon come back at night.
I would do one park a day for the first two days then park hop on 3 and 4
Peter Pan is the first ride you should go to at Disneyland.
I would pick Racers first during Early Magic Hour followed by Toy Story Midway Mania.
Don't rush your visit. 4 days is enough time, make sure you soak in the atmosphere like the outdoor shows.

Thank you for all the help!

Are you planning to go to MHP?
I didn't even think about it being Halloween time!! Yes! We will definitely try to go to MHP!
This thread should help get you off to a good start: A DLR Guide for WDW Vets. This thread has good info about HalloweenTime and Mickey's Halloween Party: HalloweenTime at DLR Superthread #5 -- HALLOWEENTIME STARTS SEPTEMBER 9th!! MHP BEGINS 9/23!!.
Also, Sunday, 10/30, is CHOC Walk (a charity walk for Children's Hospital Orange County). The parks will open later and be very crowded that day.
That sounds like the perfect thread for us! Thank you for the info about Sunday. Our flight will be Sunday evening so maybe we will plan on a no park day.

This is exactly the info I need! We figured with 4 days we could hopefully see almost everything without wearing ourselves out to much.

Don't wait too long to get your tickets, they tend to sell out. Also be prepared for large crowds in DL during the 3 hour window of when party guests can get in and when the regular ticketed guests are there. Then DCA will be extra busy that night due to all the non-party attendees moving over there. Have you considered going to a 5 day PH instead of 4? It's not that much more, I feel it's worth it even if you can only get in a couple hours.

I just checked and there is still a party available the nights we are there. I'll order them right away. Good idea to check on 5 day PH. It is only $60 more so that might be a good plan for us. I was going to order them through aRes travel (through Mousesavers) but do you know anywhere else that offers discounted tickets?

In July I bought our 5 day PH at parksavers.com. I believe they were $317 for adults, and if you purchase more that 5 days in advance I think it's another $5 savings per ticket.

Check Mousesavers.com for info on current ticket discounts. And don't forget to download the free DLR app.
