I just received mine in the mail today.... I can't say enough about it!! It is the best planning kit ever, and it's free!!! I requested mine on DVD, and was so impressed with all of the details. I would advise everyone to order this. I ordered mine by phone, but I'm sure you can order it on the website also. I can't believe the length of it. At one point, I thought it was over....only to find out that it was only one section!

The number to order is 1-800-949-3458

I've ordered mine about a week ago. We had the last one on DVD and it has many nice features with the resorts and park maps etc.

DH and I watch it about once a month and all of a sudden our 15mo DS just loves it!! We did not realize he 'knew' what Disney was and my DH said to him "55 days and you're going to Disney" DS looked up at us and hopped off the couch, ran to the tv pointing "dee nee, dee nee" We looked at each other and put the DVD on and he just stood 2 feet in front of the tv smiling and laughing, he then 'requested' it about 6 more times that day and the next!! I never thought I would get tired of that thing but I'm hoping the new one is a little different. I've officially converted by son to Disney Freak :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

We got ours on Thursday the same day we got our brand new TV and so it was the first thing we watched on the new TV. My girls love the Pal Mickeys in the maps area and they keep playing with that part of the DVD.

I just got mine today, and watched in several times! It really is a great planning tool, and now i am even more excited for my trip!

how do you get the package?

I just got mine the other day- it's great! I love the resort section- even better than last year's! And the part about the parks seems a lot longer! And there's just so much STUFF!

Thank you Disney! :D

About how long is it from placing the order to receiving the package?

It took me a while to get mine but it was well worth the wait! I believe it took at LEAST 3 weeks if not more. I'm not sure on exactly how long. I ordered mine from the Disney World website.

Is the DVD 2003 or 2004 one. I have 2003 WDW DVD already. If they have come with the 2004 already then I will have to order DVD.

Is the 2004 WDW DVD out yet?

Is there a difference between the vhs and dvd? I'm probably the last person on earth not to have a dvd player but am getting one for Christmas. I just received the vhs version, should I order the dvd?

Yes order the DVD

I ordered mine almost a month ago online and still haven't recieved it. Does it take longer when you order online? I think I will order again via telephone.

I ordered mine by phone on Dec 6th, it arrived Dec. 15th. :D

If you call from your home phone, it's all automated. They get your address from your phone number so you may have to have a published number for that, not sure though. They ask you to confirm if your address is "(your address here)" , and ask you a few questions about whether you've been to WDW before, when are you planning to go.. etc. It was real easy!

Could somebody please give me an outline of the DVD? Also, would anybody be able to give me the running time? THANKS!!

The DVD covers information about all of the theme parks and a little bit about the water parks. It talks about Downtown Disney and tells you about Pal Mickey. It talks about the resorts and the different types. It doesn't go into detail about every single resort since that would take too long. It also explains the Fast Pass. It's not too long but it is long enough to give enough information. Sorry I can't give you the specific running time. Hope this helped out some.:sunny:
