WDW/Universal in Early June-Which First?

We will be vacationing June 6-10. Planning 4 days at WDW, 2 days at Universal. Question? I've been told to do Universal last, because Universal Express will spoil us by letting us have very little waiting time in lines (except for HP I'm guessing). Sounds reasonable.

However, if we do Universal last, we will be there Fri & Sat. If we do it first, we would be doing Universal on Mon & Tue. Now, I've done WDW during the week and on weekends in the summer before, and with a good touring plan the day of the week isn't that big a deal. But I've never done Universal. Given the days of the week, which would you do first? Universal or WDW?

If you're planning on staying onsite at Universal, it won't really matter which days you go. Unlimited Express access will take care of the crowds in most cases. That will also spoil you for WDW so do Universal after Disney. If not, I would suggest going during the week since summer weekends are pretty crowded.

We planned our trip WDW 1st and US last. This worked well for us, as using the Express pass was wonderful!

We plan our days carefully at WDW, plan our touring, food, breaks around the WDW schedule(early entry, parades, fast pass return times)

The nice thing about Universal with the express pass is we did not have to plan anything, except early entry to HP. With the express pass, touring in the huge crowds in Mid-July, we could walk on to any ride with little to no wait. We could ride our favorite rides with the express pass over and over. We could tour and ride at our pace and schedule. Fast passes ran out quickly during our stay at WDW, but our Express pass at US never ran out.

WDW is still my favorite place, but we really did enjoy using the express pass!

Yes, we are planning to stay onsite for our Universal days. So doing Universal on Fri & Sat in June wouldn't be too bad in this case?

That would be fine...it will still be busy of course but again your Express access will take care of most of the lines.
