Had a lie in today - got up at 9.30am!
DD said she was feeling a bit better & we promised her as soon as she finished the antibiotics she could go in the pool at Royal Pacific
We woke up to hammering & drilling from rooms above!!
Then we walked through the grounds to the food court & the path was closed off & workmen everywhere painting exteriors!!
Got to the food court - packed, crowded & one of the drink stations areas had been closed off for renovations!!
Not a good impression!
We headed off to MGM's & mum & dad went to DTD - we arranged to meet at beaches & cream.
Headed straight for Toy Story Mania...90 min wait
BUT the sky was very gray & it looked like the heavens were gonna open any time so we decided it would be better to be que indoors than get drowned!!
The queing was cute & the best bit was the giant animatronic Mr potato head

EVENTUALLY we got to the ride
DD & I sat together & DH sat on the other side behind us.
Now for those of you who dont know you have these guns that you fire by pulling a string & shooting 3d images....guess what DD & mines guns didnt work!!
90 MINS AND IT DIDNT WORK
We told a cast member & we got to ride again
We caught the boat over to the Beach Club - GORGEOUS hotel
& waited for mum & dad & a table at Beaches & Cream
Beaches & Cream is a tiny place!!!
We then ordered the kitchen sink (dun dun duuunnn - you need music for that!)
the lights dim, a red siren flashes & they announce to everyone who the greedy people are whos eating it!! & whats in it...for those of you who know - ''a whole can of whipped cream...''
i wont try to describe it, the pics will tell there own story - especially if you look at my dads face

We waddled back to pop for DD's medication!!
Headed over to DTD in evening - ate at planet hollywood, i have to say this place is starting to look a little worn now!!
Our server Jason was of the over friendly kind showed us lots of his diving pics on his mobile!! nice guy though 
i had ceaser salad
DD had BBQ ribs...cant remember anyone elses - says a lot really!
onto the good stuff! ..we headed over to the Adventurers Club - i'd never been here but after all i'd read it had to be done especially as it was closing
I didnt really know what to expect even after reading about it!
What a fab unusual place! we went into the library & watched a lady perform then went into the trophy room with the maid then back to the library for the radio show - MUM GOT PICKED!!!
OMG we were crying
too much to explain but mums part had her lines as ''eeek'' everytime she had to speak - & for the rest of the trip mum was now known as eek
An absoulute shame they closed this place
We headed over to Disney Quest - something else i'd never done, DD, dad & i created a virtual roller coaster - DD then chickened out but dad & i rode it
We then did some other bits including the virtual raft ride - this place was better than i thought but not really my cup of tea - why do it virtually when the real thing is right outside!!
Headed back to pop...went to food court for drinks - workmen laying carpet in their
next time... Yak & Yeti, & Californian Grill...
