WDW Trip Week of May 7 - Staying at AKV and WL

We are doing a split stay at WL and AK in DVC studios. I understand that construction may be going on at both resorts, so I was hoping to get some feed back to see if I should request certain rooms or avoid certain rooms.

VWL and Jambo? VWL between the villa building and the water, the water area on both sides of the lodge are construction zones. The side of the building towards the bus stop is not.

AKV Jumbo has started refurbishment on the 5th and 6th floors. I don't know how far they have gotten or what rooms are currently out of service.

Kidani hasn't started yet.
