Hey! So, the name's Jody...kinda new to this place. I was here a while ago...completely forgot about it. But now that I'm back from my 12th trip to WDW, I've already started in on the planning for next year. I've always just gone with my family...my mom and 32 yr. old sister, and up until this year, my dad, but he unfortunately passed away last summer. Now before you all call me heartless for "making light of this situation," let it be known: Yes, I miss Dad. It killed me last year when it all happened out of nowhere. But I'm the type of person that has to laugh to keep herself from crying, so please, bear with me here. Thanks. :thumbsup2 So Disney just wasn't the same this year, and after one thing leading to another, it was agreed that I could bring a friend next year. Although the reasoning saddens me, I'm very excited to say that my best friend and I (we call each other Twin because of our uncanny alikeness) will be accompanying each other to the Happiest Place on Earth, Walt Disney World!! Our journey begins on June 11th, 2012. Needless to say, we can't wait!!

Well, now that you've gotten the background info, I need your help. Emily ("Twin") and I have already started making lists of things we're going to do whilst there. I'm a WDW regular...I know the parks like the back of my hand (which I shouldn't say, because I've never actually studied the back of my hand...), so I don't need help on getting around and such. What I'd like from YOU GUYS is some feedback. I've never gone to WDW with someone remotely close to my age..the closest is my sixteen-years-older-than-me sister..so I need to know if there's something I might not have done before, or something that is absolutely a MUST DO with your best friend. All comments, suggestions, questions, statements, and chitter chatter are greatly appreciated. :hippie:

I've heard you guys are an awesome "family" of sorts, so I'm looking forward to getting to really know you guys!! Thanks ahead of time for all your help!! :] <3

Hey Jody! I'm sorry about your lost, and i don't think your heartless. I also do the same because I don't always like crying in front of others!! Recently I got to bring one of my best friends on a trip with me and that was by far one of my favorite times there. Just having another kid my age was great. We goofed off together and took tons of pics!!! I DEFINITELY recommend taking as many pictures as possible and just have fun! We had a good time just acting stupid and running up to random cast members, asking them if we could take pics with them! Having your "TWIN" with you is great, for most rides are for two people!!! We started making funny faces on the ride pictures! At Epcot after the you ride the ride in the "Big golf ball" they have a series of multiplayer games that you can do! WE also had a good time competing with each other! Honestly, I can't describe it!!! Buying matching shirts, jewelery, and hats was also soooooooo much fun!!! There weren't many things we did different, but just being with each other made the experiences ten times better! OH! We also made videos everyday before and after we went to the parks! I adore them now!!!! I hope you and your twin will have fun!!!!

Okay, so this TOTALLY sounds like us! This past year, I took close to 4,000 pics in a week at WDW...can't imagine how many we'll take together! We do the most random stuff, and we just discussed yesterday how we plan to run up to cast members and ask for pics. We'll definitely remember to make funny faces on the ride photos. :] Thanks for the imput! :thumbsup2

haha! Your welcome! We got realllly bored one day so as a joke, I dressed up as a bumblebee! We Thought it was hilarious seeing someone my age walking around with antenna on my head, wings, and a stinger on my butt! Some of my cousins joined in! That I will NEVER forget!!! The cast members were funny with jokes! :rotfl:

Ohhh gosh that must have been great!!!! We'll have to see what kinds of costumes we can take along ;]

Like mentioned earlier...HAVE FUN!! GO CRAZY!! On all the rides (like someone said) know when the cameras are coming. Make a priceless face of fear or just plain stupidity...

See that crazy guy? Yeah...thats my dad. And the freaked out screaming girl next to him is me. Then are the party poopers. My mom is next to me. Behind us are my grandpa...my brother (he looks good) and then my grandma. Try and get the whold gang to act stupid (like my dad and me) so you can buy a memorable photo!

AHAHA!!!!!! That picture is PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!Hilarious!! Love it! On the Rockin Roller coaster, me and my friend (or whoever I'm riding with) Try to make a silly face and keep it for the picture! Its kind of hard though!!! I usually stick out my tongue a do the rock n roll hands!(The ones that look like what spiderman does!)

Im so sorry about your loss. You seem like a very strong person. It's great that you get to bring your best friend with you. Make sure you do as many rides as possible, use the fastpasses, and take LOTS of pictures!

That picture is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I was the only one in my family to ride Tower of Terror this year...the guy in front of me got out his cell phone and made a call the minute the doors shut. He said it's a long-standing tradition in his family to call someone while on that ride because you get great reception in the tower. Everyone else checked...he's right!! And then the people behind me did the YMCA. We had the most amazing picture!!

stitch'sgrl101 - thanks. I try :] and trust me...the camera will be clicking CONSTANTLY!

Im sorry for your loss, I think taking your best friend will be super fun though especially if you have the same interests. Pictures are a must, i went with a group of friends last year (14 of us!) and i forgot to take a lot of pictures which i was really sad about once i got home. Also, I'm going to do the Kim Possible challenge in Epcot this year (idk if youve done it) and I'm planning on doing the pick a pearl in Japan. Since youve gone so many times you have probably done all these but your friend might not have so idk give it a shot! I hope you have fun!! :goodvibes
