WDW to Amtrak station Orlando or Kissimmee?

I will be taking AMTRAk Silver Meteor out of the WDW area to visit friends in Jacksonville : I was wondering which station - Orlando or Kissimmee - is closer (less cab fare ) from Disney, specifically Port Orleans - Riverside. Thank for any info. gail :

When leaving Orlando going North I would choose Kissimee, it is one stop before Orlando. It is chaos at the Orlando station and it is nice to have your seats and just relax as everyone else boards.

We always detrain in Kissimmee, way less people, usually around 20 and by the time it gets to Orlando, you're all settled and watch about 100 people scramble to get on and find seats. We take a cab from Kissimmee to the Poly, its runs 38.00 plus tip and last trip, we got sidelined by hurricane Wilma and left from Pop to Orlando train station and the fare was 68.00. Kissimmee atation was closed so we had to use Orlando to go north to home and talk about people, it was a mad house, in the heat, forget it, never Orlando if I have a choice.

We got off in Orlando last trip...this time we are going to Kissimmee, especially if it is cheaper............
