WDW tickets!?...

Hi!,

Have just booked a family trip to WDW over Easter this year (2 weeks). Started to look at theme park tickets, confused or what!... any advice on;
- best deals
- is it best to buy the old hopper tickets or buy the new MYW tickets?

This time (3rd visit) we want to also try, perhaps, Universal and BG.

Thought I would pose the question as well as scan the threads...

You can't actually buy the old park hoppers anymore - although if you do have any days left over on old ones, then they are still valid.

With the new Magic Your Way tickets however, you can essentially re-create a park hopper ticket though - just buy the number of days you want and then add on the hopping option, the plusses option and the non-expiry option.

Personally, as we rarely (if ever) hop parks and always use up our allocated days during each trip, I'm planning on not buying two of those options when we get our tickets (we'll still get the plusses for the water parks) and instead using the money saved to get seven day tickets instead of five day ones.

I'd agree with Julie, if your kids are the right age Universal/IOA could be a major venue for you. IF you look at 4/5 days there, two at BG (2nd day free), by the time you factor in a couple of waterpark days, you're probably only going to need 3 maybe 4 days at the Disney parks.

If your kids are over the age of 10 then the UK resident special which is 7 days admission for the price of two (also $119 plus tax) may give you just a little more flexibility. I doubt that youd visit USF for 7 days ( or even 5) but it would give you a couple of extra days to space out the visits you do make.
