WDW through an 8-month-old’s eyes &10m &13m &16m...New 10/30!

Hehehe you and my DH would get along great! I hate the beach & water, but I do love pools. I just get bored sitting on a beach. My DH could sit there for a week straight though. I am assuming I'll have to plan a lot more beach/water time now with a baby though (but maybe she'll take after me and get bored really easily??? :rolleyes1)

Yeah I had those crib zipper sheets on my registry but no one got them! They were pretty expensive, like $40 for the first set and then $20 for each additional zipper sheet. I thought about it but decided not to do it. We'll see if I kick myself later for not getting them. Nice for the nanny though!

Yeah I never, EVER do stuff like that normally. I am the most punctual person, so that sort of think irks me to no end. And here I go doing it. Oops.

I was thinking the same thing about the post-date induction. I'll definitely be looking into when he will be around to see when to book it, good idea to go in a bit before his shift starts so that I am guaranteed to get him! We'll see.

I can't imagine being an OB in a one doc practice. Imagine how busy you'd be? and how many appointment cancellations you'd have to make? I don't even think that's feasible. Maybe a two-doc practice or something where the other doc can take over appointments if you have to go to the hospital.

 My DH gets bored at the beach too and he hates the sand and ocean. Like your DH though I could totally sit there all day every day for a week or more at a time. It's so relaxing to me. Especially at night. Maybe your DD will take after you and get bored with it easily :confused3 Us women usually stick together so she'll probably want to do what you want to do

Yeah they are expensive unfortunately. What kind of bumper did you go with for the crib? We got a breathable bumper but like I said, I wound up taking it off. So annoying.

Well it will get better after you get used to having the baby around and life goes back to a new normal. Studies show that mommies get smarter after having a baby :goodvibes

Maybe if you're dilated more your doc would be open to going ahead and scheduling your induction now for when he's on call. Just in case she doesn't come on her own. I discussed that with my doc too and he said if I was at 4cm by my next appt (39 weeks) he would be comfortable with doing it. But alas.

Oh I know me either! :scared1: But I know there are practices out there with only one doc. Nuts if you ask me!

Signing on! I vaguely remember starting your PTR, but I don't know if I ever commented! Look forward to reading more!

She's going to start out in the Arm's Reach co-sleeper at night & for her main naps, and then we have the PnP in the living room (1st floor) for daytime naps. So that being said, we still have the regular "cute" bumper on the crib. It will come off if we end up moving her to the crib early. And yes it is impossible to change the sheets with it on!

I asked my doc about scheduling my induction now, but apparently my hospital only does it ONE maybe TWO days in advance, and being "late" usually gets you bumped to the bottom of the waiting list vs. those with Pre-E and other conditions (which I understand). So, no scheduling now!! But, I do plan to ask when he is scheduled to be on call the next couple of weeks, just so I know. Last time it was a Friday, so if his normal day is a Friday then I can maybe schedule my induction for 40w4d or something and go in when he's there (if there's space for me...ugh!!).

I've decided that since the Patriots won and are heading to the Superbowl, I don't need to worry about going into labor before that weekend, since I'll definitely be in the hospital during the superbowl! :scared1: LOL

Thanks for coming over! I look forward to reading more on your PTR too!

New Update - Disney Related!!

Since this is my last week at work :banana::banana::banana::banana:

I decided I need to be productive and work on my Disney schedule!! :rotfl: since I'll be pretty preoccupied once the LO comes and my ADR date is early April, I sort of wanted to get an idea for what we really wanted to do. In looking at our 4K budget, I realized I HAD planned for a day at Universal. So a quick little reshuffling was in order, since DH said we should go so that I can enjoy some more of HP. I'm a HUGE HP fan. Like seriously I could win any HP Trivia Game. :wizard: And I loved the HP portion of IOA last time, just not much else. Okay, Spiderman was pretty decent. I hope she will also give me an excuse to ride that adorable-looking ride near Jurassic Park - the one where you need someone UNDER 48" or something to ride??? Yep. Oh and also the Seuss section which I've never had an interest in, but it might be fun with her.

Anyway, so Universal day it is.

I also decided to do a MNSSHP, so going by last year's schedule, I picked a night for that.

Added to that my list of "must do" restaurants, I hope I have a pretty decent schedule set!! Any suggestions for restaurants/other things to do would be greatly appreciated. Still on the table are two other new-to-us things: Haunted Carriage Ride and the Behind the Seeds tour, as well.

So without further ado:

Thursday, October 4th:
Fly in the evening. Check into BLT - would like to have a fun dinner somewhere, but not sure how tired we'll be, what time the flight will be getting in, etc so this night is open. It's also a MNSSHP night, which would be AWESOME but I bet our flights out will leave around 5PM.

Friday, October 5th (My 30th!!):
CP early bfast/ DIS MEET!!

Magic Kingdom

The Wave lunch

MK/back to pool/etc

California Grill OR Be Our Guest Restaurant if open (if open, will fit in Cali Grill another night! it trumps basically every other restaurant!)

Saturday, October 6th:
Kona Breakfast

Monorail to EPCOT

Biergarten lunch

EPCOT/afternoon pool time

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

Sunday, October 7th:
Check out of BLT & put bags w/ concierge/in car

Chef Mickets breakfast

AK!

Y&Y lunch

mid-afternoon leave for condo, do some grocery shopping, check out pool, etc, low-key dinner at condo

Monday, October 8th:
Universal Day! Not making any dining plans today since we were thoroughly disappointed by Mythos last time. Plan to be back by 2 (it's not an all-day park for us!).

Dinner at Cape May (DH's ONE BIG REQUEST!)

Maybe Fantasmic (played on this night last year)

Tuesday, October 9th:
DHS!

50's Prime Time lunch

Relax for the afternoon

MNSSHP!! Not sure what to do for dinner tonight. Maybe WCC? Or something already in MK. Maybe Be Our Guest if open...

Wednesday, October 10th:
EPCOT!

Akershus for lunch

Flying Fish for dinner

Thursday, October 11th:
Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast (??? added in at the last minute, not sure where else to go)

Magic Kingdom!

LTT for lunch (??? food doesn't really excite me!)

Artist Point for dinner

Friday, October 12th:
Animal Kingdom morning

Lunch at Sanaa

Open afternoon/evening

Saturday, October 13th:
Will make ADRs for Coral Reef for lunch

Ohana for dinner (new! should be a fun last dinner & also easy to get reservation since I can make it so far in advance!).

Sunday, October 14th:
Check out/fly home. Will try to get 10-11AM flights, we'll see.

Since I mention sticking to a 4K budget for this trip (IDK what others think of this budget, but for me it is HARD LOL). Our last trip was about 8500 for 9 nights, so 10 nights on 4K ... looks doable right now but we'll see.

I'll break it down to how it is being spent, and I'll admit that we have a couple decent deals making it a bit easier to stick to.

Namely:

Rental Car: $0 (using Capital One rewards points). I currently have about $430 in rewards dollars. I assume rental car, after applying discounts and such, will be about $250. I don't know what else to use the rest of the rewards on for this trip, so I might also get a free rental car for our April Texas trip, but we'll see.

Flights: $0 I signed up for the Southwest Credit Card offer, which included 50,000 miles which is enough for 3 round trip tickets (depending on where you're going, but for Prov-Orlando we can get 3 tix). Not sure whether we will hoard the 3rd ticket, and fly with Aria on our laps, or splurge for a seat for her too. I'd say "splurge" (considering it's FREE) BUT it might get me back to Disney more quickly if we had one flight free for the next trip...

Anyway, other expenses are listed below:

Bay Lake Tower: $500 for 3 nights

Grand Villas: $350 for 7 nights (for a 3BR!!)

Disney Tickets for 2 adults: $666 (purchased from Shades of Green)

Universal Tickets: $180

Surrey/other random thing: $20

Souveniers: $600 (thought I was being pretty generous here, though I do tend to spend a LOT!)

Disney food: $1000 (I think I'm underestimating this, but I think I can stick closer to this # if we don't drink during lunch meals)

Groceries: $150 (we'll have our cloth diapers, bring our detergent, bring some of the baby food (Make at home), and buy some baby food, breakfast foods, snack foods, and water. Not too many meals planned at the condo. This is VACATION! I don't want to cook!

Gas for car: $40

TOTAL: $3506

So I assume that even though I estimated pretty low for meals, I have another $500 extra that can go towards that. And I do still think I over-estimated on the souvenier front. Especially since she'll be too young to be asking me to buy her things, so it'll just literally be ME being the bad spender (DH doesn't care).

What am I missing?? Hmmm

Sorry to hear about the doc situation. Hopefully it will all turn out ok and you will have a dr you like! My doc usually delivers at the other large hospital in the city and her office is right across the street from that hospital. She does do a few deliveries at the hospital where I work, but not many. So I figured there was no way she'd end up available for my delivery. If I went into labor during the day, she might not be able to come over from her office in time since it's about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic. And if I went into labor on the weekend, what were the chances she'd actually be the one on call? Well, turns out, I delivered on a Sunday night, and she had JUST gotten home from a vacation that afternoon, so when the nurses called her, she was able to come over from her house and deliver DS. It couldn't have been more perfect! So you really never know.

Your plans for the trip look great! We did finally decide on our October dates, but unfortunately our trips won't overlap. We discussed going for Halloween week, but I didn't want to miss Trick or Treating with DS in the neighborhood. So we looked into other weeks, and the week before Halloween was the only week we could go in October and have enough points for a unit without having to borrow from next years points. So we are going to be there October 21-28 instead. :thumbsup2

Oh I almost got one of those co-sleepers but I registered for the RnP which worked out great for Alex :goodvibes

Oh got what a PITA!! I'll be praying you can get scheduled the next time he's on call.

:lmao:

Plans are looking good! :thumbsup2 I just printed out all the menus of the restaurants I want to go to. I am now starving. I should've gone to lunch first.

Hope to see you at CP on the 5th! :) If Be Our Guest isn't open by then, I think I'm going to try CRT. I've never been there and it's like the must-do MK experience for most people. Have you ever been?

Aw that would have been so neat to overlap. So jealous of your DL and WDW plans though. Can't wait to hear more about it!

So glad your doc situation worked out great in the end!! Though no one needs the added stress.

Hooty hoo for your last week at work!! :goodvibes I totally want to take Alex to IOA but DH hated Universal so I couldn't convince him to go

Neither of us really liked Universal :lmao: BUT that being said, HP is there and I can't resist visiting again. The ONLY thing we liked at US was the Mummy ride, so we won't even be heading to that park, just IoA. And there, it'll just be for the Seuss, HP, Spiderman & Hulk rides, and that ride across from Jurassic Park that I mentioned. Seems like a lot of $$ to plunk down just for HP though...but at least we can play it by ear and skip it if we would rather have another Disney day or just a relax day (oh the horror LOL)

the Carriage Ride sounds fun. Never did the Behind the Seeds tour. Can't wait to hear how you guys like it.

Yeah the behind the seeds tour looks interesting, we both love the Living With the Land ride so I thought it'd be something *different* to do that is cheap but fun.

Our must go to restaurants are Coral Reef and LTT

Hmm interesting. I like Coral Reef for the atmosphere but haven't been since I think 2004. Since the nursery theme is Under the Sea, we figure she'll probably be interested in the fish and such, so that could be fun. LTT is not some place I've ever, ever been interested in (I don't eat meat remember, so basically only thing that sounds good is mashed potatoes hahaha). And I just took a look at the menu again and decided it might not even be worth it. DH would like it but wouldn't be wow'ed either. Why's it a must do for you guys?

From what I read on the Disney Parks blog the new Fantasy Land section will be opening in the summer so it should be open when you're there :thumbsup2

I hadn't heard that timeline, that'd be awesome. I'll head over there next to read up on the updates.

We hated WCC. I vote for BOG :thumbsup2

LOL What was wrong with WCC? I think my DH would love the platter, and I like that I can order something OTHER than the platter

I've heard great things about the RnP but we didn't get it (and I hadn't really read anything about it until after the big purchases were made). It's on my "to buy list" if we need it though!

Thank you!! :goodvibes I need to print out menus too. It's what helped DH get into the dining choice mood last time!!

Yes we have been to CRT for bfast one year (2007) and lunch on my birthday in 2010. 2010 was CP bfast, CRT lunch, and CG dinner LOL. But anyway, since I'm so picky with food I was pretty unhappy. DH and I are happy we won't have to return for a couple years, but we will once this LO is old enough to do BBB and then we'll treat her to a meal in the castle. Until then...we're trying out Akershus this year for the first time.

That being said, I still LOVE dining in the castle. In 2007, we were on our Honeymoon and were given the best table IMO - center in front of the windows looking over FL. It was awesome. Granted, in 2010 there was construction going on so windows were covered, not nearly the great experience from before which is why we decided to wait a bit to return!

I still think my 3rd back up (if CG is closed, and BoG isn't open yet) will be Artist Point, but not 100% on that yet. Maybe Flying Fish too, hmmm...

A disappointing update regarding my appt yesterday...

I was NOT dilated at all. Nada. Zilch. So disappointed. And looking up stats for no dilation at 38 weeks, seems there are SOME ppl who go from that to labor on/before due date, but more than likely it seems ppl go to 41 weeks and then are induced. BOOOO. AND IT HURT. I wish I could swear here, because I am still in pain from it. I nearly ripped DH's hand off, and honestly don't remember much but pain. Seriously, IDK how I'm supposed to go through labor when just checking my freakin cervix hurt so bad.

So, no membrane stripping obviously.

AND when I went to make my appointment for next week (much to my dismay) they tell me my OB is out ALL NEXT WEEK. WTH? He didn't mention that and now I'm PO'd. I ended up making it with the lesser of two evils - I was given a choice between two other OB's I've seen there, neither of which I like AT ALL. One's a tiny female so at least I'm hoping her finger won't hurt so bad (TMI??? LOL).

Anyway just had to share, sorry if this grosses anyone out...but I'm pretty upset that 1) no baby most likely until EDD or later and 2) it hurt like HECK.

On another note, I've been feeling her whole foot sticking out, and able to feel the heel, the little indent, and then the top pad. (Sorry for my lack of foot anatomy knowledge). It's really neat (compared to just strong pokes coming through).

 well if you don't go to IoA I vote for a relax day. We have at least two every trip. We did one TEN day trip comando style and omg I was so ready to go home at the end of that trip

Well I hope it's great! We did the KTTK tour on our 2007 trip and it was amazing!! I really want to do the tour that goes through all three parks but we will have to do that one until Alex is of age since they don't allow young children on those tours.

Yeah I'm sure your LO will love CR. The reason we love LTT so much is because it's comfort food but if you don't eat meat then yeah I can see how it's not all that appealing. I just love the homey atmosphere in there. DH is huge on history stuff and my BFF is a history teacher. My Grandmother used to take my sister and I there on every trip so it's full of memories for me.

DH really liked WCC but the waitress we had kept picking on me and made me really mad while we were there and I didn't particularly like yelling for my ketchup. The food I ordered wasn't that great either. I know a lot of people really like WCC but it just wasn't for me.

Yeah if I hadn't of gotten it at my baby shower I might not have gone and bought it but I'm so glad we had it because it was the only place besides his swing that Alex would sleep. I hope you don't need to buy one but if you do it's great for reflux babies.

I'm SO sorry your Appt was so disappointing. I was 2 cm dilated from 39 weeks on. That's the only reason my doc was able to strip my membranes. And yeah you can go from 0 to 10cm in no time so hopefully that will happen to you. ((hugs)) I know it doesn't seem like it but the pregnancy will end soon. She has to come out some time. I was induced and it didn't hurt but I had the epi. Even before I got the epi I didn't really feel the contractions even though they were really strong because they were in my back so it just felt like I had some pressure in my back is all. Even though it wasn't hurting I still got the epi

And that sucks that your doc won't be there for your next appt. Ugh! I hope the other doc is ok this time and doesn't hurt you. By the time you get to labor and delivery you won't care how much it's gonna hurt. You just want that baby OUT!!! I was so very excited the night I went in for my induction. I was anxious but so glad I wasn't going to be pregnant anymore and I was finally going to meet my baby boy. You'll do great! And I'll tell you, the two best things about L&D is the epi (if you're gonna get one) and the catheter!! :thumbsup2

What a frustrating appt! Dialation is one of the last things to happen, though, so you could still go early!

Sorry the exam hurt so bad! I would avoid those during labor as much as possible! IMHO, I wouldn't want to be examed, thinking I am a 5, when I am really at a three. I don't think I could handle it!

Are you having many prelabor contractions? Did she say how effaced you were?

 well if you don't go to IoA I vote for a relax day. We have at least two every trip. We did one TEN day trip comando style and omg I was so ready to go home at the end of that trip

DH's vote is for every day to be a relax day!! Relaxing to me is about 45 minutes at the pool, then I'm ready to go again!! So, we compromise by spending mornings in the parks (since you can get SO much done when you go at RD) and stay to lunch, then have a bit of a break in the afternoon. Works for us! Sleeping in for me is 6AM LOL so 9AM park openings seem so LATE!

Well I hope it's great! We did the KTTK tour on our 2007 trip and it was amazing!! I really want to do the tour that goes through all three parks but we will have to do that one until Alex is of age since they don't allow young children on those tours.

I would just looove to do the KTTK tour, and the other one you mentioned too, but it looks like it is going to be a while!! I don't think there's an age limit for the Behind the Seeds tour which is why I'm considering it.

I know a lot of people really like WCC but it just wasn't for me.

yeah LTT doesn't sound up my alley at all LOL. Maybe we'll *gasp* do counter service instead.

You're experience at WCC is sort of the reason I've managed to skip it - I just hate being the center of attention. But luckily I don't like ketchup so won't be asking for any. I'll be sure to have DH do it though!! *evil grin*

Yeah if I hadn't of gotten it at my baby shower I might not have gone and bought it but I'm so glad we had it because it was the only place besides his swing that Alex would sleep. I hope you don't need to buy one but if you do it's great for reflux babies.

that's what i've heard, it's a great cure for babies who won't sleep anywhere, and for reflux. i hope we won't need it too!! but it is in the back of my mind just in case! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

YEAH I'm still reeling from the pain. It was just horrible. I'm sure it didn't help that I was tense, and just kept tensing up even more. Dr. said that even if I had been dilated he wouldn't have stripped my membranes bc of how much in pain I was.

Oh yes, I am DEF doing the epi. LOL. I hate needles and haven't even given that a 2nd thought. Next appt I'm going to bring up induction again, even though it'll be a different/new doc. Haven't seen her since I was about 8 weeks.

She "officially" made my due date February 7th, even though my ultrasounds said I was measuring for February 6th AND I specifically stated I was happy that they said the 6th because it was my late Granddad's birthday. So she turned to me and said "well let's make it Feb 7th then". LOL :confused3 Not that 1 day really makes a difference, but DH and I looked at each other incredulously, and I haven't seen this doc since. But IMO that was crazy rude and totally unnecessary.

Thanks! I will try and avoid as much as I can, I'm just hoping that once I open up and soften it won't be so bad. Not much in the way of contractions, though lots of BH's and every once in a while I get what I *think* is a contraction since it starts out front, is kinda weird feeling, and then wraps around to my lower back.

I'm 50% effaced, so I guess that's something right :confused3

Well that sounds good then :goodvibes I'm hoping we don't get bored on our relax days but one day we'll be going to visit my grandmother and the other we'll probably wind up at DTD and a friend of mine is supposed to meet up with us. So they won't much be relaxing days I guess

KTTK was fabulous! I highly recommend it! The Seeds tour doesn't have an age limit.

 CS isn't all that bad. Maybe you could book one of the monorail resorts for lunch. 'Ohana or The Grandfloridian Cafe or something like that. No one says you have to stay in the park for lunch.

 good idea!

Well at least you know about it. I know a lot of mamas that wind up buying it after their baby is born because they won't sleep anywhere else but hopefully you won't need to.

Hmm yeah being tense for that kind of a check doesn't help at all. And I don't blame your doc for saying he wouldn't have stripped your membranes anyways due to the amount of pain you were in just from the check. I have a high pain tolerance and like I told you before, my doc doing that totally made my eyes water.

Needles don't bother me but the thought of one going into my spine wasn't very thrilling but it's really not that bad and thank GOD you can't watch them doing it. Good idea talking to the other doc about induction but she probably knows what you've been discussing with your other doc already. In my OB's practice they had weekly meetings about all of their patients so everyone knew what was going on so I'm sure your practice probably does something similar. Not to discourage you but just a heads up if she says no like your OB has.

Hmm that does sound like a rude thing to say to you. Like you wanted the EDD of the 6th. Geez. Maybe she misunderstood you. Female doctors are so weird. I much prefer males. But yeah, one day doesn't make a difference especially since the EDD is just a guess anyways.

I think that's what makes CRT such a big draw - dining in the castle. I've never tried it. I'd prefer Beast's castle (I like Belle better...don't tell Cindy ;) ) but if that's not open yet, we'll probably opt for CRT. I like that you get a photo package too.

Why can't every decision be as wonderful as ADRs?

Sorry to hear that your appointment was disappointing :(

Ok so since no one dissented...here are some "3D" ultrasound pics!! We went when I was almost 28 weeks preggo (actually the weekend of my shower). Supposedly she was about 2.5 lbs at this US, and now she should be around 4lbs! From now to the end she should gain about 1/2 lb per week.

So without further ado...here she is! Oh and also, we were able to catch her frowning (with her forehead scrunched up) after poking and prodding her to try and move her hands away from her face, and also a couple smiles too :goodvibes

Also...since none of you know my family...I'll tell you her name!! My mom is DYING to know her name, but she's also really, really judgemental and has something to say about every name we've mentioned, that I am not telling any of our families her name until she is born.

So...her name is Aria Marie! Marie is both DH's and my grandmother's middle names, and we just really like the name Aria.

Congrats to you! I found your PTR link on the pregnancy board.

We didn't tell anyone what we were naming DS2.5 either and it was such a weight off to not have to hear every family member in the world give their opinion on it (I knew somebody named that and they... blah blah blah. )

We're expecting baby #2 in August and I think we'll do the same this time.

Plus since I had to have an emergency c-section it had everyone wait until I was out to know. :]

I peeked at your Days 3 & 4 plans - yeah driving 2 hours each way to visit your grandparents is going to be fun...but not exactly a relaxing day LOL

No, CS isn't that bad. But again comes the meat issue. If I hate hot dogs, hamburgers, etc I'd be set. But alas I'm stuck with veggie burgers (yuck), and I don't even know what else? Though I do love me some french fries. :goodvibes DH is pretty happy eating anywhere. AND I do love to sit down and be served :snooty: much? :rolleyes1 LOL. GFC is a possibility for lunch, that's sort of how WCC came up. Not sure where else on the monorail resort track. The Wave is fantastic, so maybe I'll skip that on my birthday and do that another day. Or Kona. Hmm... (Ohana would be wonderful but it's just bfast and dinner! I can't wait to try it out this trip though!)

Hmm interesting about the weekly meetings! IDK if they do that? He's never mentioned it but that doesn't mean they don't. And yes I def agree- I could NOT watch the needle coming at me!! But I figure I'll be in enough pain that just sitting there waiting for it to happen will be about as scary as when I wait for a shot/get blood drawn. Scratch that, I haven't had a shot in years because I always chicken out...:scared1:

IDK what was up with the doc, but I was not happy about it. 1 day doesn't matter, except that now if I'm induced it could come into play when they will do it. guess I'll see Tuesday!

Sorry to hear that your appointment was disappointing :(

Me too - I love Belle (she's my favorite princess!). I really really hope the BoG restaurant is open when we are there!! Otherwise I'm going to have to reneg on my telling DH we'll wait 2 more years to go again LOL. Well, that and the rest of the FL expansion!

Congrats to you! I found your PTR link on the pregnancy board.

Thanks for coming over!! :goodvibes I definitely am glad we didn't tell anyone her name beforehand. My mom would be the worst - I tried it out by telling her some of the names we liked (luckily not the one we picked though) and she had something negative to say about them all. At least if she does that this time, it'll already be on her birth certificate and I can be genuinely mad at her for being so rude LOL. Anyway, congrats for baby #2!!! You must have just found out recently, that's awesome!

Good thinking on the emergency c-section - I'll have to talk to DH about how we'll handle that if it comes to that! I already told him that no one but him can hold her until I'm able to though - I can't IMAGINE my MIL holding her before I get to - she will FOREVER talk about it. I'm mad just thinking about it LOL.

Yeah not so much. Oh well. At least he won't be strapped to his stroller most of the day

Yeah Kona is good too. You have quite a few pretty decent choices at the monorail resorts. And you could even take a bus to one of the other resorts too.

 Good thing you didn't wind up down the Infertility treatment road then. Needles galore! I've gotten so used to it I don't even care anymore. Plus I had to have the RhoGam shot three times while pregnant because I'm Rh Negative. First time was at 6 weeks in the ER for bleeding. Second time was the normal 27 week shot they give Rh Negative patients and third time was because, of course Alex's blood type is A+. Sheesh. You're going to love having an IV since you hate needles. I was really worried about that but I forced them to put it in my arm and it really didn't bother me. So I'd recommend that. If they put it in your hand...YOUCH!!!! Not trying to scare you but hopefully this way you know ahead of time and you can request it in your arm :goodvibes

Hopefully it won't make a difference and they'll induce you on the day you want. Really hoping for good news from your appt this time! :goodvibes

Your plans look great!

We also had the light up Seahorse for my last 2 kiddos and they loved it. We also used the sheet protectors from Babies R Us for all 4 kiddos...they were life savers!! Good shopping choices!

Hopefully baby wont make you wait until 41 weeks :scared1:
