Hehehe you and my DH would get along great! I hate the beach & water, but I do love pools. I just get bored sitting on a beach. My DH could sit there for a week straight though. I am assuming I'll have to plan a lot more beach/water time now with a baby though (but maybe she'll take after me and get bored really easily???)
Yeah I had those crib zipper sheets on my registry but no one got them! They were pretty expensive, like $40 for the first set and then $20 for each additional zipper sheet. I thought about it but decided not to do it. We'll see if I kick myself later for not getting them. Nice for the nanny though!
Yeah I never, EVER do stuff like that normally. I am the most punctual person, so that sort of think irks me to no end. And here I go doing it. Oops.
I was thinking the same thing about the post-date induction. I'll definitely be looking into when he will be around to see when to book it, good idea to go in a bit before his shift starts so that I am guaranteed to get him! We'll see.
I can't imagine being an OB in a one doc practice. Imagine how busy you'd be? and how many appointment cancellations you'd have to make? I don't even think that's feasible. Maybe a two-doc practice or something where the other doc can take over appointments if you have to go to the hospital.

Yeah they are expensive unfortunately. What kind of bumper did you go with for the crib? We got a breathable bumper but like I said, I wound up taking it off. So annoying.
Well it will get better after you get used to having the baby around and life goes back to a new normal. Studies show that mommies get smarter after having a baby

Maybe if you're dilated more your doc would be open to going ahead and scheduling your induction now for when he's on call. Just in case she doesn't come on her own. I discussed that with my doc too and he said if I was at 4cm by my next appt (39 weeks) he would be comfortable with doing it. But alas.
Oh I know me either!
