I think it's Mona. The show gives very subtle nods toward it and then go completely in the other direction with Garrett/Jenna/Melissa. I'm refusing to believe it's one of them because it would be so obvious. So I'm calling it now, it's Mona. We'll see if I'm right!

Just joining you today! Congrats on your beautiful baby girl! I found your PTR when I was searching around for posts about taking a baby to Disney. We are planning a trip at the end of November with our son who will be a month shy of 3 at the time (he is 2 now) and our baby who is due in 24 days So the baby should be about the same age as Aria will be when we go to Disney. I read through all of the posts, and I found it funny that I live in MA too, probably like a half hour or so from you. Small world
I look forward to following your PTR and then hearing about how your trip went and hopefully getting some good tips.

Hi! thanks for commenting, I also have done a ton of searches for TRs and PTRs having to do with bringing babies. I don't think there are any I haven't seen, as there really aren't that many out there. Congrats on your pregnancy! That's so awesome. How are you feeling? It's so weird, I don't even remember the last month or so of the pregnancy. Except how much I enjoyed being pregnant. Lol.

Where do you live? Are you originally from MA? I live on the Taunton/Dighton line. My husband is from MA (holliston) and I'm from Seattle, WA. Are you planning on doing a PTR?

I couldn't live without my DVR and like you, it often does tape 2 things at once. I haven't seen Revenge, but everyone talks about it, might have to start watching it

I'm sure your daycare will be great, especially if you talked to other parents. I'm sure she'll be in great hands.

Thanks, it is nerve wracking leaving her with anyone. You know what is weird though, I feel better knowing she will be at the daycare vs. letting her stay with my mom or Andrews mom for a day? Idk why. Both of them are fine people but I just don't know how I'm going to leave Aria with one of them at some point lol. Although, we DO have cameras all over our house, so at least if they watch her at our house we would be able to check in on them hehehe. (we bought the cameras to watch what our dogs get up to during the day hahah)

The first month was such a blur! I hope time slows down now, I am sooo not ready to return to work! I'm sure time will not slow down.


So I did an exact AP upgrade cost. Literally $56!! And that doesn't even include any sort of AP discount on shopping. It does mean no water parks or Disney quest. We do usually go to DQ but I don't see us doing that with Aria anyway, and it's not like we had planned on going to a water park anyway, but i will have to talk to dh about that. Why don't more people get APs?? Maybe it's because we will also save so much by getting the TiW card. Idk. I'm excited to think we will get there for another trip, at the very least for the f&g festival if not during December. Or maybe I'll just go with Aria. Depending on how October goes guess!

I live in Westport, MA. I did grow up in MA as well.
Not sure if I will do a PTR, but maybe once I put some more effort into planning my trip. I don't want to book anything yet until the baby arrives and is healthy, etc (we aren't expecting any issues though).

The tickets I am getting are government ones so I think that helps. And I'm comparing getting the water park fun & more plus park hoppers to the APs without water park entry (but my DH doesnt have to know that lol).

Yeah definitely. I bet with some purchases it will be a wash, making a future trip even better! I keep joking with DH that I'll take a long weekend trip this summer, but I think it'd be best to start the AP in October so we might get one or two more trips with Aria afterwards as she gets older, starts walking, etc.

Just a quick update. I need to sit down with DH to really go over our ADRs. I get to make reservations in 2.5 weeks! Can't believe it's almost here!

Im not entirely sure about eating out more than once a day with Aria and having the condo with kitchen (though I do not plan to cook at all beyond a quick cereal lol).

things are going Well at home but she is growing up so fast! Two month (8week) shots next Monday. She has reverted back to sleeping in 3 hour increments. Not sure why but I'm do tired.

Last Friday Andrews parents stayed the night and watched Aria for us while we went out to dinner and then a country bar. Mind you, I don't like country music lol. Dinner was good but getting home and in bed at 12am just wasn't worth it when aria was up shortly thereafter to eat! Plus she does not nap at all so I bet that isn't helping.

Once I get my ADRs set, I'll do more detailed day by day plans!

Oh and also, update on Texas trip - grandparents are coming here in June. I was really hoping to go, but it's nice not having to spend the money. However, it is our 5 year anniversary in July so we are looking into doing a mini vacation, possibly to Long Island and doing their wine trail? I want to rent a house so we can bring the dogs too and they can enjoy the beach. No luck so far finding a place for a weekend though, most are weekly rentals.

As far as the eating out goes, I think eating out a couple of times a day won't be too bad, if you only do it a few days on your trip. We took a 7 month old with us a year and a half ago, and she did pretty well at the TS restaurants. We brought a few little toys to keep her entertained, and if she was taking a nap, they allowed us to bring the stroller into the restaurant, which was nice.

They're really light, easy reads. I flew through them. I have most of them in PDF format if you want me to send them to you. The only book I'm missing is book 2.

So not much of an update lol but I'm so excited bc I get to get up first thing tomorrow to do ADRs. I just thought of something though, I might not be able to do the whole trip, one because it's 11 days long, and two because my reservation at BLT is only for 3 nights so idk if the system will let me do 10 days past check in day?? If not then I will have to do the first 4 days and then get up each morning for the rest. Ugh. Going to go look into that.

Oh and I decided to come onto the DIS instead of eat lunch while Aria takes a little catnap lol.

Totally OT but I have a new obsession - Game of Thrones. Anyone watch it?
I have quite a bit of TV time while nursing all day long lol.

Speaking of TV time how awful is it that I put on Mickey Mouse Club this morning for the first time and I got so excited that Aria watched for like 2 minutes lol? I want her to know all the characters she's going to meet! We also read The Sleeping Beauty. I explained what a lucky girl she is that she will get to meet Princess Aurora. She seemed overly excited to hear that...

The reservation I used to book my ADRs has us checking out on 10/7 and they let us make an ADR for 10/8. We have a different confirmation number for that night. I don't think it'll be an issue.

ADR UPDATE!!!

First, I was in a MOOD this morning. Got up at 5:30, had DH feed Aria with a bottle while I pumped (I can pump in 10 minutes, she would feed for 30...LOL). Ran upstairs to the office and got all set up...only to have the online ADR system not accept my reservation. Grrrr. Of course, had no ressies to make my first day (10/4) so had to give up until I could call at 7AM. Of course, we also woke up Aria to feed her with a bottle. So basically, on the one day I get to sleep in AND she stays asleep, I got up early. GRRR. (FYI DH gets up at 4:30AM during the week and without fail Aria wakes up then...)

ANywayyyy after that, called at 7AM (in the car, on the way to Cape Cod for Easter). Got everything!! Here's a list of our ADR's and then soon I will start my day by day itinerary at some point soon...I go back to work May 1st so no promises before then - I have a lot more free time then LOL
