WDW single day tickets - fastpass?

Does anyone know if the single day tickets purchased at WDW are still able to participate in the fast past program?

I asked this on another board and was told "yes - you can use Fastpass with any ticket media."

Yes you can and should use fp!

You can use fastpass with any ticket that has been used to enter the park that day.
