If we get to MK first thing in the am, I know that Mickey's Toontown is closed until later but can we still take the WDWRR and get off at Toontown and cut through to get to Fantasyland? Is this possible? TIA

Negative. You can get off at Toontown but there is a rope up until 1000. You may use the walkway from the Toontown Station to Tomorrowland coming out at Space Mt.

Does toontown always open an hour later than the rest of park, even in the summer? How about on morning EMH days?

If you have kids that want to visit Toontown - hang out there until it opens.

We did this one year and we saw Mickey Mouse immediately. We got off the train, hung out at the entrance of Mickeys house and when they opened the house we were the first ones in, and the first ones to see Mickey . This was great because we did our "meet and greet" and then didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day.

Also, I saw a earlier post that the ToonTown station is going to be closed for rehab - not sure on the dates though.

toontown station will be closed for rehab this may, opening again in June. It'll be demolished and rebuilt.

On EE days it opens at 9AM. We got off at the train station and just by pure chance they were dropping the ropes on the other side and we ended up in front! It was great and we got to ride the Barn Stormer with Chip and Dale!

I have heard too that the station is going to be torn down and rebuilt but I have not heard the exact dates!
