How do you get the WDW official podcast and what are the steps to get it? Are these podcasts playable on regular mp3 players or just ipods? Is there some service that is needed? Could I save it and play it on my computer? In an e-mail I got, it said that it was a free service. Is this right? I tried to do a search on this topic, but got a messege that the server is busy or unavailable.

New to all of this. Any info will help. :)

~Thanks~

I was able to find that page but I get lost where it says copy this URL to your podcast application or podcasting program to subscribe to it. How does this work? What do I do next and how do I go about subscribing?

I was able to get it in i tunes. I jsut downloaded I tunes and searched for it in podcasts and it came up no problem.

If you download itunes, can you download that to a regular mp3 player or is itunes just for ipods?

Itunes program downloads just to Ipods....BUT..you can use Itunes to convert the podcast to an mp3 format you can use in any mp3 player.

Then that saved mp3 file you can transfer to your mp3 player but not with Itunes. You first need to go into the "My Music" folder on your computer then into the "Itunes" folder. Find that podcast mp3 and send it to the mp3 player you have hooked to your computer.

These are the steps to download that particular Disney Podcast to Itunes:

Open Itunes

Click on the "Advanced" tab

Click on "Subscribe to Podcast"

Paste the url for the Disney podcast into that space

Then on the left side of the screen click on the Podcast icon and you can see the podcast listed there.

Now if you want to play this on any mp3 player do these next steps:

Right click on the podcast you want to convert to an mp3

Select "convert to mp3"

Then once that is complete, connect your mp3 player to the computer.

Go to the "My Music" folder on your computer

Go to the folder marked "Itunes"

Go to the folder marked "Itunes music"

Go to the folder marked "podcasts"

Go to the folder marked "Walt Disney World® Resort_ Plugged In"

That particular podcast will now be there as an mp3.

Send that mp3 to your mp3 player.

Thanks for the great info Shutterbug! Now, one more question. Is there another service, program or application other than itunes that can be used to make using a standard mp3 player easier?
