WDW Parks finger scan - will it be switched to be like Disneyland?

When the Florida Disney parks reopen, do you think the finger touch point scan will be replaced with something like Disneyland uses (photograph for your ticket)?

I'll bet that is something being discussed on video conference calls. Even though guests can wash their hands after passing through the touch point one can understand the reluctance of people wanting to use it.

I think they will just let people in without fingerprinting—too expensive to get a whole different system put in.

For ballyhoo purposes a CM might be stationed at the finger scanner to wipe it down after each guest uses it during selected times of the day. But the Mickey head that turns green or blue to signify successful ticket/finger verification as well as nearby handrails and other objects within reach might be wiped down only once per hour and guests would probably not call attention to that.

Or they could have hand sanitizer dispensers by every finger scanner.

I wish they would. My wife always has a great deal of trouble with the fingerprint scanners for some reason, and we always appreciate not having to deal with it when we are in Disneyland as opposed to WDW.
