In regards to distance, how far is Pop Century to Epcot/MK? Walk, bus, boat, drive?

I just wanted to say for all the input my fellow DISer's have shared with me on the thread. It's just so STRESSFUL planning from so far far away (California) to a place we've never ever been to (Florida/WDW). Budget is a factor, but since our time is a short 3D/2N at WDW, we're able to be a tad more flexible with our finances.
Someday, on our next trip, it will be longer, and we'll know the in's and out's of WDW much better.

What did you decide? It may be late to put my 2 cents in (just saw thread) but I agree that standard room in Epcot area at BW, YC/BC better choice than DVC studio for 4 people - 35% discount means hotel room about $17 more/night but more room. Stayed at YC this past Sept. - 2 queens, spacious, and some rooms have a daybed. Since you will have a car and if trying to save $$, have you considered POFQ? I live in NV and have done 2 trips to WDW in last 2 years (much different from DL) so if you have questions, pls leave me a PM.
