WDW Package question

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not, but here goes...I will be going to WDW in June on my honeymoon for ten days. We will be staying offsite for the first seven nights and at a Disney resort the last three. Will we be able to purchase a package for the last three nights but include an eight day park pass with park hopper option? My concern is because if the park passes are on the room keys and we won't get our room key until the final three days. The reason I want a package is so that we can use the Dining Plan for those three days. Does anyone have any insight on this?

If this doesn't make sense, I can try to explain myself better...

It's possible to do but I don't think it would work for you because you're ending your trip with your Disney package, not starting it that way :(

None of your Disney package components are active/activated until you check into your Disney resort. If you were staying onsite first, you could include any length park passes with your package and be able to use them for the entire ten days (or forever, if you add the non-expiry option).

Would/could you revamp your honeymoon so you stay at Disney first, then move offsite?

I was thinking that it wouldn't work, but hoping it might. Unfortunately, we can't change the days we're staying offsite because it's a timeshare and we have to be there Sat. to Sat. I guess it will be okay if we can't do the dining plan, I was just thinking it might have been a good idea. Thanks for your help!
