Any current Disney ride that compares to being able to fit on FJ while overweight?

Do any Disney rides have over the shoulder restraints?

CA Screamin at DLR has over the shoulder restraints.

Maliboomer at DLR does too, but they also have a strap that goes from the bottom of the restraint to the seat. (that strap is what has prevented DH from riding it).

However, what concerns me about FJ is how low that restraint goes, and if hubby's tree trunk thighs will fit under it...his legs don't change no matter what his weight is, because they are solid muscle no matter what, so even if he loses enough belly and back he still might not fit.

But I too would sure love to know how Maliboomer's fit compares to FJ! Thanks for making the thread, OP!

Oh, and there are shoulder restraints on Rock and Roller Coaster at WDW.

There isn't one. *Maybe* Sum of all Thrills, because it was supposedly built by the same company.

People are comparing it to all sorts of things that I've been able to ride (RNRC, Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point, etc.), but a woman my size was just turned away earlier today. I've never been size-restricted from any ride in my life and would never even think to check the "test seats"...but from all reports, I won't be able to ride FJ.

Disneyland apparently has a few things some people can't ride. I don't know of anything at WDW except maybe Sum of All Thrills?

I would love to know that, too. I have no probs with Rock N Roller Coaster or CA Screamin, but have had trouble with Maliboomer. I've been able to ride it, but it's been REALLY close. Darn ****s and belly - it all just gets in the way!

I'm really nervous about FJ! We're not going until Nov, so I'm hoping to be able to lose 20 pounds by then, but realistically, that's not something I can count on. I'd hate to go and not be able to ride..... but I guess it's better knowing in advance that it's a possibility.
