WDW or DCL?

I know this will get a biased response, but I would like to take my bride of 23 years on a trip w/o kids this September for our anniversary.
We spent our honeymoon at WDW.
The question is: Pop Century with the meal plan or 3-day Wonder cruise? Flight times (and airfares) are more difficult with the cruise. We will need transportation to the Port. There are the tips to add on, as well as spa and Palo. The cruise would cost us about $500 more overall, but be a nice, relaxed break from our lives. But we love the World as well, but it would no doubt be more hectic.
Give me your thoughts - Do the $$ make sense to pay now, since we are going back on the Magic in March? Or do we save, and spend that money later with the kids?
The Mouse is going to get it either way!

I would go with the cruise, and if you can swing it, do the 4 day so you can get a day at sea.
We did the 3 day in July after 5 nights at WDW and we did not have time to rest on either part. Granted we had a DD6 and a DD11 with us, and therefore so of the obilgatory younger stuff, but.... It sure would have been nice to have a day at sea. We rebooked a Double Dip while onboard to give us something to look forward to/

Do the cruise, especially for just the two of you!
It is much more relaxing & romantic, but you still get the Disney "feel".

I vote for the cruise!
I love both places too!
However since it's an anniversary trip the cruise is going to be more relaxing and romantic, which is what I would be thinking of if I were in your shoes.
They have REAS packages, but even without that, a nice late night stroll on deck, or watching the gorgeous sunsets on board. Maybe a late night trip to the adult hot tub would really be nice. If you tell them at booking that your celebrating an anniversary, they will present you with a free cake one night at dinner, which is nice. We did that on our 30th anniversary on the Magic.
It is best to remind your waiter or head server the first night, because once in awhile they do forget, but not often!
Either way you'll have a great time. Happy Anniversary to you both!

I'm laughing...you are asking this question on the cruise board. We are not biased here at all

TAKE THE CRUISE! If you could possibly swing it - go for the 4-night.

Transportation isn't an issue (unless you want to make it one) there are many options available to you, from Disney's transportation, to renting a car, to getting a town car service.

Given a choice of WDW or DCL - I would pick DCL everytime.

Yanno...I was alll for sayin the Cruise..until you said you are cruising again in March. It can also be romantic to go back to WDW where you honeymooned.

No question - go for the cruise. You will love it.

No question--do the cruise. Think about a lower category and a longer cruise if you can do it. Sept. is off season, so rates should be good.

Do the cruise!!! Much more relaxing and private I'd do the 4 day too if you can swing it...

As for the "extras"... isn't it a reason to splurge and celebrate? Palo's is only $10 each for dinner... that's not bad... and to treat your lovely bride of 23 years (congrats by the way... I'm so impressed!!) to some well deserved pampering... TRUST me... that will be priceless!!

If the choice is between POP Century and a DCL trip for a romantic trip....then there is no question!

Now, if you could bump POP up to say, Port Orleans French Quarter I'd go with the sentiment of a 2nd honeymoon. I liked POP, but French Quarter would be many times more romantic, yet not as $$ as a deluxe.
