Would love some feedback as to what the parks are like now. Going at the end of March. We've gone at least 4 times in the past, but never during a pandemic.
Thank you!
I was in WDW for 4 days over 12/30 to 1/2. Capacity was probably as high as was allowed. It was a very spur of the moment trip but once the decision was made I knew there were things I wanted to do( or not) to make it comfortable for us.
#1 we chose NO HOUSEKEEPING as it was a very short stay. I went so far as to pack my own trash can bag. It was easy enough to get extra towels because the housekeeping carts were left out daily ( POP Century)
#2 we decided to not eat inside the food court at POP. In the few times we went there to pick up our mobile orders, there were few people eating inside. I do mean FEW. We packed food items for eat in the morning in the room.
#3 pack those CLOROX wipes. I would have done this anyway but this is imperative now. I didn't notice anyone cleaning eating surfaces ( outdoor eating ) regularly. I always wiped down when we sat down and I wiped down when we left too.
#4 have your own personal hand sanitizer with you and use regularly. No need to explain. There are hand sanitizer stations all over the place, but sometimes they're empty OR the line you're in is simple moving and if your entire group stops....well you know what I mean. Easier to have your own.
#5 have an extra face mask with you just in case the one you're wearing becomes sweaty. We had warm days on our short trip and one of those days it was nice to have a fresh mask after a few hours in the park.
I will share: my 5 year old grandson touched everything. In the queues, there wasn't anything we could do to keep him to keep his hands to himself! So hand sanitizing him was constant.
Overall, I think WDW is doing everything they can to follow CDC guidelines and make your stay there safe and enjoyable.
ENJOY your trip!!!!
