WDW Marathon Weekend Road Closures - January 9-12

Just a PSA post, I'll bump this a little closer to the dates so it's easy to reference. The WDW Marathon Weekend is Thursday, January 9 through Sunday, January 12. To credit Disney, they get a little better every year with their road closure info, which came out today. The Thursday 5k has no road impacts, the Friday 10k has a few but by and large over by the time most guests are moving around property, the Saturday Half and Sunday Full do start to bleed over into theme park hours and can cause delays/challenges moving around property. the Saturday Half and Sunday Full do start to bleed over into theme park hours

In particular, Epcot doesn’t open until 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday. I noticed that when entering park hours on my planning spreadsheet a few weeks ago.

If I interpret this right, on Friday a bus ride from Wilderness Lodge down World Drive to Hollywood Studios for park opening during the tail end shouldn't be impacted. Seem right?

Yep - no impacts for that route for Friday’s 10k.
