wdw international guests must present passport or copy to order alcohol

if you look young and are an international guest, prepare to bring a copy of your passport or original passport to order alcoholic drinks at disney. Just came back and my brother was refused an order by showing his Canadian drivers licence. Cm said it's a policy implemented since late last year and they do have discretion. It's apparently to cut down on underage guests using foreign IDs.

It's been since before late last year. As I'm in my mid-20s I can never be served alcohol without showing ID, it means that if I think I'll want a drink I have to carry my passport around all day (and risk losing it!). Last time I forgot was at Cali Grill, I had my Cast ID, my drivers license, 2 credit cards (to really prove it was me), but still no service without the passport - lesson learned!

There have been multiple reports on previous discussions of this subject that a colour photocopy of the front pages of your passport are sufficient, along with another photo ID, like a drivers license. Leave the original in your resort room safe.
