I don't see how anyone can predict a year out what promos will or will not be out.

I am not sure who you have been talking to, but if you look at past history, there has been a promotion in July going back to 2009, at least. You can find the info on mousesavers.com.

As the pp said, there's no way of knowing what will or will not be offered, especially a year in advance. Also, there have been promos offered in July, including room discounts and free dining.

For July 2012 there was a room only discount that came out around April I believe. Last July there was a small room only discount too. Check mousesavers for the full details. I have not seen free dining recently for July so if that is what you are looking for you may want to reconsider. Also the prices are much higher in July so even with discounts the rooms are very pricey.
