Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I guess this may have been asked before - but here goes...

We're going to Florida from 20 August til 3 September - what will the weather be like, will the crowds be enormous - and does anyone have any good advice for a late August visit?

Many thanks

It will be in the 90's & humid. Crowds are not too bad, as many southern schools are back in session. When you are hot, cool off. When you are thirsty, drink. When you are tired, rest. You will never be able to do everything, so you are better off enjoying that which you are able to do without being too hot, tired & thirsty!

Take it slow, plan breaks, and bring ponchos and umbrellas! It rained every day we were there for about 30 minutes - an hour, which really isn't a big deal cuz almost everything is indoors anyway.

Like wdwdvcdad said, the crowds aren't too bad at all. I never waited more than 15 minutes for any ride. We'd get up and go until we were tired, go take a break at the resort, then go back out and do something else.

Have fun!
