We are thinking about doing an afternoon of visiting the hotels to enjoy the magic of the holiday decorations with family that will be visiting.
Since we live less that an hour away, and our FloridaResident annual pass has blackout date week of Christmas. ( we plan of visiting the parks with our pass beginning of month. I remember the decorations outstanding in the hotels.

Can we do that if we aren't going into the parks? Thinking of Grand Floridian
Contemporary and Polynesian .

Responses please..

Of course. You may need to park at the Ticket and Transportation center or book dining reservation at one of the 3 monorail resorts because they won't allow you to just park there. But of course you can visit! You could park at DTD free and take the bus. :thumbsup2

Yes.

The top resorts of primary interest for decorations:

Grand Floridian
Wilderness Lodge
Boardwalk
Animal Kingdom Lodge

Be sure to visit WL, GF and AKL...all beautifully decorated for the holiday. Depending on when you visit there is usually entertainment in the lobbies the closer you get to Christmas.

You must go to WL and if you can take the boat to the campground and at least walk around! If you have time take a sleigh ride and go have dinner at Hoop Dee Doo.
