Aww, I love reading first time visits to WDW, they remind you why it's such a wonderful and magical place.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I hope you two get a another trip sometime in the future, there are so many things to do there!

P.S. - I took my roller coaster fearing friend on Everest, first roller coaster he's ever been on, and his reaction was very similar to yours. I'm sure you can imagine his reaction when the track disappeared and the cars reversed...

Awesome! Although not from MB, my wife and I lived there for 5 years until I was transferred to NL (our home province). I worked 5 years with the end goal always being to get home and now that we accomplished that, all we talk about is how much we loved MB and how much we miss it!! Go figure!

When do you guys leave? I still remember arriving at the Greenwood and being so excited for my wife! A little advice, if your leaving early, a lot plenty of time for their shuttle, it's late....a lot! Enjoy your trip and my report.

We are leaving the first week in December, and we are SO excited. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Thanks for the tip on the shuttle, if it comes down to that we might just take a cab. lol.

Hey Guys....

Just dropping you a quick note to let you know I'm still alive and kicking. I know, I know I haven't posted on my TR in an obscene amount of time. I transferred from Manitoba to Newfoundland (Canada) in Late Sept. for work and between the move, work and getting settled in a new home, to say I've been stretched thin would be an understatement. That said IT IS COMING! "Sure it is Green!" well it is, so there!

Our WDW trip has been pushed back from November 2013 to Jan. 2014. One couple backed out and another took their place...SO we're looking forward to that for sure. My wife, Nicole, put together an awesome scrapbook on our WDW trip early this year. I'll put some pics up from that once my TR is completed.

Well...thats it for now...My next string of days off my wife wants the tree to go up so between the boughs and christmas balls I'm going to sit down and finish this thing...promise (not the first time I've said that ). So stick around, it'll be worth it.

I will finish this if it's the last thing I do. We're heading back to WDW in January....There's no way I start my new TR without finishing my last one! I'm sure I've lost all readers at this point but I guess I'll just write it for myself. I've always been partial to my writing.

I'm loving it and you guys are awesome...I have not watched the video of your wife yet because I am afraid it will leave me sobbing my eyes out here at work.

I think you two are adorable. I wish my DH would surprise me with a trip, but I'm the planner in our family!

We will be there for two weeks in Dec. and I'm sorry we'll miss ya!

We have been in Jan before, weather is nice, no 80 degree days for sure, which makes it so much easier and less tiring to tour etc.

Did you do a PTR for this trip?

P.S. You guys are perfect candidates for a WDW Vow Renewal!!

Read the whole thing thru...today. Hope you plan to finish and also post pics of your scrapbook. Thought I would also let you in a little secret.,,,the cure for fear on Expedition Everest is to jump right back in line and ride it again...If that doesn't work, ride it the third time as fast as you can get back in line...Voila, you'll be cured and ready to ride Tower of Terror and RockNRoll Coaster with Aerosmith.

Just read the whole TR today. It was great to read about adult first-timers. I took my BF (his first visit, my third in 2010). Your descriptions of EE and Splash were so funny! I can't relate as I am a thrill ride junkie. Your wife's obsession with Disney is precious and I loved seeing the pics of her reactions. Thanks so much.

Thats awesome, I see you watched the video after...glad you liked it. I didnt do a PTR for this trip BUT I'm considering rolling this one over into a PTR for our upcoming Jan. trip.
