Has any Guest ever been to WDW for 365 days in a row?:)

When I retire and move to O-Town,I plan to do this-just wondering if I would be the first!(I'm guessing no.):)

The blogger/author of From Screen to Theme I believe had a longer record than that. Although I think his spanned both coasts.
I am so jealous, he is in the parks every day!

I was on the RnR as a single rider with a strange little man the last time we went that said he came to the parks every day after work...:scared1:

He reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite.

No idea if this has been done, but if you do it, it would be really cool if you kept a daily diary. :)

:lmao:

A lot of the people doing the Disney College Program seem to be in the parks almost every day

Many cast members have entered the park every day as guests...does that count? ;)

There was a couple who did that at DLR last year. I remember a big deal was made about it.

I just kept thinking- I might love going to Disneyland but if I'm sick, I just want to stay home. I can't imagine going a whole year without catching something! :rotfl: Anyway, I'd love to live close enough to either resort to try!

My DH's elderly aunt and uncle retired to Orlando, from Nebraska, just to be close to Disney!! Back when they were physically able to, they were there three times a week, every week, for about 8 months out of the year. Not everyday, but close! They had a schedule.... they alternated between parks, alternated times of day, and did a particular rotation so that it always felt fresh to them. They are sadly now beyond the point where they can tour the parks on their own, but their adult children take them occasionally. They knew what they wanted when they retired and they did it! They lived that way for well close to 10 years, going back and forth between their home in Nebraska and their home in Orlando.

I remember in the paper a few years ago they had an article on a local man want to Disney every day for a whole year, Disney gave him a free AP the next year.

To be fair 3 days/week for 8 months is really not very close to 365 consecutive days.

There are lots of Disneyland AP holders who go every week. Some kids who go to school in Anaheim go every day after school. But every single day for a year is something very different. It means you can't get seriously sick, and you can't have any other commitments (job, wedding, funeral, etc.) that would take you out of town. It sounds easier than it really is.

It would be fun to try!

Being retired would definitely help with the goal. They next biggest thing will be staying healthy for the full year. But, if I think back to myself over the last couple of years, I haven't been sick to the point of not being able to function. Sure, some days I'd be dragging my butt to the park with a cold, but there's nothing saying you have to stay all day. 365 consecutive days could technically be only a few minutes each day.

I think they said the couple went 3 times a week, 8 months a year for 10 years.. that's impressive but I think the bigger point was they did what they wanted to do in retirement.

I think going 365 days in a row would take some of the magic away.. at least for me. I think going once a year helps maintain some of the magic..

If everyday was Christmas, then Christmas wouldn't be that big a deal! IMO.

My DH's aunt and uncle had their routine, did they have to miss occasionally? Sure. But as a general rule, you could find them having breakfast on Main Street one day, maybe lunch at EPCOT 2 days later, and then enjoying a hot dog at Casey's on a weekend day. It wasn't all day, it was typically 3-4 hours depending on the crowd level, it was a routine. And thank you previous poster, you were right, it was about them loving Disney and doing retirement the way they wanted.
