WDW/Dreams unlimited refund policy ?

I plan on booking WDW for Dec 2006 as soon as I can (I believe it is 500 days prior to check-in). I will be making a room only ressie (11 nights).
I would like to make monthly payments on the ressie prior to the vacation.

Questions:
1. If I had to cancel prior to 6 days before the vacation, would I get back my one night deposit AND all the monthly payments made?

2. If we book with Dreams Unlimited, would I make monthly payments to them or to WDW? Also, if I had to cancel a room only ressie with them, would the refund policy be the same as WDW?

Yes, if you cancel 6 days in advance you get your money back (All of it)
You make paymetns to Dreams who has the same cancellation policy as Disney.

1. yes on room only you'd get back your full amt paid if you cancel 6 days or more prior to your vacation.

2. If you make your ressies with DU you would give them your information for making the payments you want and they would make your payments to Disney for you. Your credit card would show a charge from WDW not from DU. Yes the cancelation is the same because your ressies are still made directly with WDW by your agent on your behalf.

This is taken right off the DU website to explain it more >>>>>> "A - Since we don't charge your credit card, and since you never pay Dreams Unlimited for your vacation, you would never have to worry about this. When making your reservations, you would provide us with your credit card information for booking. We, in turn, provide that information to Disney. Disney then charges your card. This way you are assured that every payment you make towards your vacation is applied directly to your reservation."

On the ressie after paying the first nights deposit , then could you simply pay the remainder owing at time of check-in at WDW (like when you book direct with CRO). Or do you have to pay the final amount owing ahead of time?

You have the choice with a room only reservation of paying in advance or at check in--whichever you prefer (unlike packages that are prepaid 45 days in advance) and yes, all payments are made directly with Disney when you use Dreams Unlimited.
