Hi there - I had a question for anyone who might have done the same thing I want to do...

For my birthday, my friend who's birthday is the week before mine invited me to go to Disneyland with her. We're both CMs, but she's seasonal and I'm a campus rep.

We both have Main Gates and IDs, but I have used all of my WDW Main Gate entries for the year. Do I need to buy Disneyland tickets, or will my cast ID & the fact that I have a Main Gate be enough? I know that they used to not count other park entries against your pass, but I don't know if that's changed recently.

Thanks for your help everyone!

As far as I'm aware it hasn't changed (though I went to Disneyland in December 2009 so it's been a while, but I haven't heard different from anyone else)... you should just need your ID and your maingate; even if it hasn't got any days left on it. The Disneyland system won't accept your CM ID, whereas it will accept your Maingate pass which is why they need to see both. And obviously don't forget a photo ID if your CM one doesn't have your photo on it.

I was also curious about this, thanks! I'm hoping to go to Disneyland next month (since I live in Idaho, a flight is next to nothing) but didn't want to pay $200 for a 3-day ticket. I still have my maingate (no days though) and the newest blue ID, which has the photo on it.

Thanks guys! Soarin, if you're going before October 10th, you'll have to let me know how it worked, haha.
