Mousesavers just announced changes for tickets and early entry to WDW....are these early entry changes for Disneyland too? Anyone know? Would be great if they were.
I was just coming to ask the same question. Specfically what type of ticket media do you think they are going to have to Disneyland for 2005. We'll be there be there 8 days and I know I don't need tickets for all 8 days, but I'm wondering what the best deals will be?
I can't see them doing the same thing. At WDW there are 4 major parks and all the water parks, etc... People are more likely to pay the flat rate fee to be able to hop parks. At DL, there is just the 2 parks. Most are happy to visit DL and CA separately and not hop if they had to pay more to do that. I don't know about early entry - as I did not read what those changes are. We are not 'early entry' type of people on vacation! LOL!
Also - you can buy one adult, get a child free, or an adult at kids price tickets that are good from Jan-Apr for DL. I got mine through a Cdn. travel agency, but apparently it is US as well.
Where can I get the adult ticket for the childs price? Do you have a web site I can go to. I will be there in february for 6 days so that price would be great to get.
You have to buy them via a travel agent! Any travel agency should be able to get them for you. I called 3 - just to compare prices and make sure they were not marking them up. 2 of them were able to do it, and 1 was so snobby on the phone and said I had to buy the whole package (air/hotel/tics) to get the deal. I told her I knew otherwise and she said she wouldn't waste her time getting them if I didn't want it all! OMG! I will never give that agency my business!
There's no reason for DL to make ticket changes like WDW has. You have no plus features on DL tickets. DL tickets have pretty much always expired, and with DCA still struggling, there's no way that they'd give people the option NOT to park hop.
