WDW Calendar Graph ("When is the best time of year to go?")

Not my "first choice" around any holiday, but potentially planning a week to include Memorial Day Weekend to try to accommodate everyone's schedule for a family trip. For part of the week, older DS and girlfriend can hopefully join us for an extended long weekend, but she is restricted with time since she is an educator. Want to be back right after Memorial Day so college age DS can start a summer job...So my question is typically Friday before Memorial Day through Memorial Day, what will crowd levels look like do you think?:scared1: TIA!:goodvibesGREAT chart!:thumbsup2

OP: Thanks for posting - great graph which I will definitely enjoy when planning my next trip.

Question: Can you either post the link to it at EasyWDW, or give me a few (unusual) words I can search for it with - to find it? (Google is my friend, and I even searched many terms at easywdw's site, but no luck.)

TIA!

Hi @Amanda999
I believe @isestrex did a lot of research from all the different information available at easyWDW.com. In other words there is no single page that contains all this information. Here is a good starting point:

I used to often go in January as a kid, I miss those lower crowds but we sometimes can go when the crowd level's lower. Thanks for posting

I am not as concerned about temperature as your other two factors but I would also agree that those are the three things I take into account the most. Your graph also confirms my belief that most of February and early December are the best times for me personally to go.

Thanks for the graph, it is interesting to see.

This is great! Are the smaller scale spikes in the grey line usually because of weekdays/weekends...?

I wish I could figure out how to print this out to put in my Disney planning notebook.

We like January (going for 2 weeks in Jan of 2016 with the entire family), but my wife and I much prefer Sept. I'll take the heat and rain over the cool to cold days in January 100 times out of 100.

I think that the thing that you have to remember is that these three "factors" may not weigh equally for some. For us, all other things being equal, we would choose hot weather over cool weather. But the #1, #2 and #3 things that we consider are crowds.

Right click the image, copy, paste into Word or Excel, then print.
Got it! Thanks for the help. I printed it in landscape and I can still read it fine. This will come in handy when thinking about when to take future trips.

Pretty much, yes. There is a rumor that Monday is generally the most crowded day of the week because people are rolling onto or off of the property all weekend but Monday is a lot of people's first full day. It makes logical sense but I didn't see that anywhere in the data. The little spikes of slightly higher crowds almost always fell on Fri/Sat/Sun.
