We'll have me, dh, dd 7 and dd 2 1/2, and a stroller to lug around. We will have our van with us so we could drive to/from the parks ourselves if it would be quicker and more convenient. Would it?

Day 1: MK am, hop to Epcot pm--better to bus to MK and then monorail to Epcot, then bus from Epcot back to POP when done???

Day 2: AK am, hop to MGM pm--better to drive ourselves to both parks, or take WDW buses?

Day 3: MK pm for MVMCP--bus to MK, or drive ourselves? Since we'll be here late I didn't know if there will be a mad dash at the end to get home and buses might be scarce????

Day 4: Epcot am, maybe hop to MK pm, or stay at Epcot all day--better to bus it, or drive?

Day 5: MK am, maybe hop to Epcot, or stay at MK all day--again, bus or drive?

Thank you so much if you can offer your advise on our itinerary.

No driving is never quicker. The buses drop you right off at the gate where driving you then have to take a tram from the parking lots. Will never rent a car again at Disney.

If you can find a good parking spot at Pop..leave the car and take the buses.

The only night I would drive is MVMCP night.

While there will be a mad dash, this mad dash will also exist for the ferryboat and monorail to get to the TTC to get to your car.

Buses will not be scarce, as they know when the party is over and they supply extra buses. We attended the sold-out MNSSHP on October 8, and didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a bus, and we left soon after the fireworks.

We were also there for the extremely crowded showing of Wishes on October 9th at 10pm - I think we only waited 12 minutes that night for a bus.

The only place we don't drive to is MK. The buses can drop you off near the entrance to the park.

No waiting in lines for buses, trams are quick.

We had a horrible experience waiting for a Pop bus after MK close in July. Pop is so big they have two queues with the longest walk too.

Several Busses came in for almost every other resort before we saw a Pop bus. They finally had 3 stop at one time to load for Pop. Wait was close to an hour.

Try getting a PS at the CR and park there. I believe there is a 3 hour time limit, but I've read posts that if you valet park, they don't check.

Valet parking is $6....
The 3 hour time limit IS enforced, and people HAVE had their cars towed - especially during busy times.

PLEASE - don't try to use resort parking instead of parking where you should to visit parks. Rarely will it be easier or faster than parking where you're SUPPOSED to...and it's very frustrating for a resort guest to find no open parking places when they return (from personal experience) ::yes::
