We will have 2 full days to kill before our April 30th cruise and I was hoping some of you could help me out. We want to go to WDW, but only have 2 days there and we're wondering what 2 parks should we hit....I do not want to buy park hoppers. Keep in mind we have been to DL tons of times. Where would you go? Thanks Soooo much for your help. :teeth:

If it were me, I would do Magic Kingdom and then Sea World unless you have already been to a Sea World and DL has something similar to MK. Those are my two favorites.

I think I would do MK and maybe MGM since we didn't spend much time at MGM last time.

We always arrive a few days before our cruise to get a few days of Disney in our bloodstream before our sailing. If you've been to DL before then I would try AK, or MGM, and possibly EPCOT. Its hard to choose as we have an AP and don't have to make this difficult choice..LOL.

Many new attractions at EPCOT (Soarin) but you have that at DL. You should try Test Track, Mission Space, and World Showcase (great restaurants).

Good luck with your decision!

Well for us...being from California we would skip MK . We usually choose Epcot! Depending on what time of year you are going..they have so many extra things to offer: Flower and Garden Festival (beginning April 15), Food and Wine Festival (my fav!) (Sept. - Nov.), Christmas special events etc.

MGM Studios is also pretty cool...Rockin' Rollercoaster!!! Then again you may want to try Disney Quest (awesome) or one of the 2waterparks (Typhoon Lagoon just opened some new water rollercoasters)

For me honestly, anything Disney is great!!! Hope you enjoy whatever you do!

It somewhat depends upon the ages of your kids.

If you have the younger set, MK is the place to go and you can fill an entire day and not "do it all". It's similar to DL only it's physically larger, with about the same number of attractions as DL (lots and lots the "same" and many that we don't have out west)

If you have teenagers the the Disney / MGM studios is probably the best choice - especially if they like rollercoasters and drops (Rock'n Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror) And there's Star Wars, The Indiana Jones stunt show, the Great Movie Ride, The Little Mermaid show, the Animation building (is it still there even though they closed down this animation unit?), the backlot movie ride, The Walt Disney Story and many more.

But now EPCOT has some pretty nice rides (Test Track, Mission Space, Body Wars, Maelstrom in Norway). You can also spend an entire day at EPCOT and not do it all (Every Person Comes Out Tired). And there are lots of attractions for the entire family. Besides the attractions already mentioned, other "not to be missed" attractions are: The American Adventure (or is it Journey), China and Canadas Circle Vision movies, Impesion's de France (movie), Cranium Command in the "health" pavilion. I enjoy the Spaceship Earth show and if there's enough time the Universe of Energy show (this one is a good 45 minutes to get through)

Animal Kingom would be a place you could go to and do it all, and many things several times. It opens earlier in the morning and closes earlier in the evening.

I like the suggestion of Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. You can spend a fun, active day at either of these water parks.

If you spend the day at the water parks or AK, then you could spend the evening at Pleasure Island if that's your thing

We maybe in the same situation.

For two adults I think we'll go to Epcot and AK BUT I'd like to do MGM??
If Everest is open at AK next June 06 ( can't remember its due date) we'll AK for sure. AND Epcot.

I love MK BUT with out the girls I think we'll skip it for sure.
My two cents
Melanie

for our 2 days i am doing the parks we spend the least amount of time at so we can go late and get back whenever, we are doing ak and mgm and then doing the cirque show one night, then up early morning and off to cruise

I really appreciate all of your replies. My daughter is 7, but she does enjoy the scarier rides. Probably wont do MK, but MGM and the water parks sound fun. Oh well we'll see. Times running out though. :earseek:
