Hey, how many of you guys have been to WDW during Christmas or Easter? My family and I are thinking about going and we wanted to know if its really crowded or anything. Ok well thanx!

I have been to WDW during both times and both times WDW was really crowded. I think Christmas is worse then easter though. I remember waiting on lines for an hour (this was before fastpass) I dont go during those times anymore. My family goes in the summer because its not as crowded.

christmas is worse than Easter
I would say cmas b/c of the decorations and the magic that is felt

we left the day I got out of school and stayed until 3 days after cmas..by then we were ready to leave b/c everything was SOO crowded!!(VotLM had a 85-minute wait!)

we never waited long for anything...the crowds were actually fine up until the day after cmas and then they were just horrid
but it didn't matter to us b/c we went back 2 times later in less than 6 months so whatever we didn't do then we did on one of the other trips! :D

i have only been to wdw during christmas(been twice), it was crowded but you cant miss the chance to see the decorations and stuff like that

I've been at Easter, and its pretty crowded (Splash Mountain had a 90 minute wait), and hot

There's a really nice Easter parade at the Magic Kingdom though, and I think they do egg hunts at the hotels

I think Christmas would be the best time to go though :D

I've been during xmas time, but heres the trick, go the week before xmas, thats one of their slowest times, plus you get to join in all the festivities.Believe me, its a great time to go, its really quite slow between the week following ThanksG. & the week before xmas.:p You'll have a great time, Epcot is the greatest around that time, esp. the Santas from around the world!!! ~*Jen*~

I have done both. Actually I was there right after both Christmas and Easter. Christmas is more crowded, but I enjoyed both trips so much. They both get really crowded, but if you plan well, and get to the parks early and hit the most popular attractions, then you will be fine. I loved my Christmas/New Years visit to WDW - the whole atmosphere was so wonderful.
