My DH and I had an anniversary trip planned to Tuscon in Sept. We had to cancel because my mother had a stroke and I went home to ND to be with her. With two "free" airline tickets ($100 change fee for each) that have to be used before the end of the year--we decided to try WDW for the weekend of Dec. 2.
On Monday, I booked a studio for one night at OKW and one night at the Pop Century but waitlisted for BWV. Tuesday I got a call that the second night at OKW came through. Wednesday I got a call that they had the two nights at BWV.
We're SO excited. A trip for just the two of us. We're the proud parents of three teenage boys so time away together is hard to find. We get to stay at a new place (BCV is our home). And to top it off--we have tickets to MVPCP and the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. I've always wanted to see the Christmas decorations at WDW but we've never been able to manage a trip at that time of year.
Life doesn't get much better than this!
