WDW and Christmas

Would love to visit WDW for the Christmas entertainment and decorations, when does Disney have the decorations up and when do they usually begin their Christmas entertainment? We usually visit in Jan but am considering a visit during Nov or Dec, 2009 for the holiday activities.

We stayed at BWV and BCV November 14 - 21 and at first neither one had decorations, but by the time we left they both had. There were MVMCP's but the Osborne Lights and Epcot's Christmas traditions didn't begin this year until Thanksgiving, or the day after.

IF you want to see everything, I would schedule the trip for right after Thanksgiving.

We tend to go each year over Thanksgiving (Friday-Friday). Most of the decorations are up. The Christmas Tree in the MK was not, which has been in the past, but other than that, I thought the place looked great!!
