WDW 30th Anniversary Trading Card Collectors Set in Tin Box

Just released at WDW... a complete set of the new 30th Anniversary Trading Cards, in a tin litho Collector's box. Limited to 5,000, this set includes an exclusive, 31st card showing a pre-opening art rendition of Cinderella's Castle by Herb Ryman, also limited to 5,000 in the edition.

Overpriced at $30.00, the set has already sold out in many locations within the property.

Sure, they come out with this now -- after I spent more than that buying packs of cards to try to get the whole set. I think I wound up buying 15 packs of cards, so I actually would have saved money by buying the boxed set!

In addition to the new boxed set, I just found out that there is another series of 30th Anniversary cards that you can only get by trading with cast members. Apparently, like the public set, there is one card for each year.

I hadn't heard about that before, and I'm not sure what cast members have the cards... I wish I would have known, I was there last week.

Can anyone add some info?

I was emailing with Disneyboysmousehouse about the cards and he mentioned the castmember cards. He just mentioned them in passing, so I don't know how much information he has on them. Maybe he'll see this when it gets bumped up. If not, you could always email or PM him. I've decided I'm not even going to try to get any of them. Good luck if you decide to go for them.
