WDW 2015 Deals - Must book by end of December

We have a code to save up to $600 for a few weeks the first part of 2015 and then to save up to 35% off the room rate through May. I think it has to be booked by the end of December to get the rates. My question is I wonder if we wait to book what might be offered after this expires. I wonder if they will come out with something better to offer. We won't be going till May so there is a little time but I don't want to miss out either. Our budget is super tight right now and we are even thinking about skipping 2015.

Anyone know what they have done in the past?

Yeah that is what I told my DH. He said if we had to we could just wait in line I told him once you used fast passes you can't go back to waiting in those long lines! NO!

The later you wait then you just get what times are left (if any). If you book early then you get to pick your fast passes early. I can't remember how many days but I think it is around 75 days prior to your visit.

so why not book it and then if something better comes along rebook with that offer?
and if you decide to not go at all then cancel within the proper time frame in order to get a full refund.

anyone not staying onsite can select fastpasses 30 days in advance as long as they have a ticket.

booking now vs the day before the fastpass booking window opens is not going to give you any advantage over someone else.
the only time someone else would have an advantage over you is if you book your trip 60 days or less in advance cuz others will have already been able to make their fastpass selections that day.

This is correct. It doesn't matter how you book, who you book through, or where you stay (including the Swan/Dolphin). Everyone at a Disney resort gets the same crack at it, 60 days before the start of the trip.

not sure why you think booking now would give someone "first dibs".
the fastpass selection window does not open until 60 days in advance for people staying onsite.
OP could book 61 days in advance and have no more or less of an advantage with fastpass selections than booking now.

If a better deal comes along you can call and change to it, so go ahead and book.

Yeah I couldn't remember what the time frame was for the fast pass window. My thing is that we could book before the end of the year (to get the "deal") or wait till about April or even 1st of May (last minute) to decide on what to do this year. So it would be either book early and do fast passes, ADR's, etc.. or wait till last minute and wing it.

I was just wondering what the odds are that after the first of the year that they will offer a better deal. Probably not but thought there might be a chance. I haven't ever waited till after a deal was over and risk it so I never watch to see if there is a better deal offered.

There is a website that lists the traditional deals and when they are released.

It also depends what the best deal is for your family. Personally I am hoping for a room only discount.

I have my room booked and plan to call and add whatever discount. Seems the best thing to do to me as long as you cancel more than 45 days in advance.
