Ok, so watching the weather this morning and thought of you guys. One day next week, Orlando will be in the upper 60's, with a low of 48!!!! Yikes, but after that it is going to warm up again. So get those jackets packed, but I still think it will be beautiful for you.

It would be fun to you also, but I asked my Jacob about going and he said no, so I have to work on him. I actually am curious to see if all of the decorations come down after the last MNSSHP or if they will still be there since they are fall. I'm going to work on him though. I am really starting to think he was switched at birth, my child would be begging me to go to WDW everyday.

Any word on the refund yet?

OMG!!!!! So this is what our marriage has come to! We shall now only communicate through the DISboards!

POP is great! We stayed there last trip - you'll have a blast!

Great news - I got a letter from ATOL today, no money included but at least they know about me!

I'm a bit disappointed with the weather update - cold???!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for heat - saying that it can't be as cold as over here!

If I were you I'd just drag Jacob along - how can he not want to go to WDW? I'd ask if you'd done a DNA test, but he's the spitting image of you (without the long hair obviously)

Bought some more glow sticks today - ILMICKEY! That's how you'll recognise us. We'll be covered in glowsticks!

Just in case people are concerned, we did just actually speak to each other, for real, with spoken words, not a keystroke in sight........................however we are both back at our usual positions surfing away now.

My countdown has now officially started, this was my last night at the Beaver's so I wont see the wee scamps for 2 more weeks, ah bless them, how I will miss them as I hurtle round Everest, lose my mind on IASW and glide through POTC!

I should probably start my own Pre-Trip but since wifey stole my original id I think it only fair I 'borrow' her pre-trippie.

Given the sensitivities of some of the folk who have started threads recently on other forum threads I think it only fair to issue my apology in advance and list the behaviour people may witness if they encounter me.

1) I may on occasion look to be having a hissy fit - Dont fret cause thats exactly what I will be doing

2) I will drink alcohol, heck I may even drink more than one beverage per day, actually that's a definite when I go to the Biergarten, I will also believe I am German that night and only answer to the name Gunter!

3) I may well stop in the middle of the street, suddenly, with no warning. My view is that Walt kinda wanted folk to look at Disney and all the things in it so its no surprise folk wanna stop and take in the sights.

4) I plan to take pics when I am there, other people may well end up in them, its not intentional its just damn hard to find an empty park these day.

5) I save a table whilst my wifey goes to get the food.

So if I have touched on a particular bugbear of yours then I apologise but advise you to stay a safe distance from me to ensure we all have a Disneytastic time

Now I need some food and drink, its the highlight of my Friday evening, sad isn't it!

Suddenly stopping is great. I do it all the time. I have no stroller anymore so no weapon at the moment.

I believe we should start naming all of the strangers we all find in our trips dont you? That would be a fun game.

"Are you posting again?" came the anguished cry from the far end of the couch. She has stropped off to bed now demanding tea and cake, saying she will post tomorrow since I wont let her on!

I think Herr Gunter will coming out to play on this holiday, I pity the staff at the Germany pavilion as I will be out of control gabbling in very bad German and gazing at the steins.

Anywho - for those that are interested Gunter and the rest of the clan will be at Biergarten on Sunday 2nd Nov at 635 onwards. He'll be the tall obnoxious 'faux German' in liederhosen.

He's even been trying to learn German to 'dazzle' the servers.....I fear we may be asked to leave and never return.

Pack summer clothes - done.

Pack Mousekeeping envelopes - done

Pack camera & charger - sitting next to suitcase.

Pack first aid kit/suncream/travel adapter - done

Have all paperwork for car park at Gatwick/Photopass/Car Hire - in folder

Money - packed.

Pack books/sticker books/colouring pads & pencils - sitting next to suitcase.

Wax legs/eyebrows/tint eyelashes - to be done day before we leave.

Keep trying for ADR breakfast at Poly.

Buy cartons of juice/stuff for eating on drive down to Gatwick - to be done

Cancel newspaper delivery - to be done

Pack tickets/attach luggage labels - DONE!!!!!!

Do online check in for Virgin - to be done 24hrs before

Book kids meals for the flights - done

Pack sunglasses - to be done

Put cushions and blankets in the car for kids to snuggle into on drive down - to be done on day.

Remember to actually pack toiletry bag, and not leave hanging on hook in bathroom - sitting next to suitcases.

Buy trainer socks for DS (he has issues with bare feet in shoes, even crocs) - done

Print off route planner for travel down and back up from Gatwick - to be done

Remember to pack Unofficial Guide - to be done

Empty fridge of perishables and take out bin bags - to be done day we leave.

Am sure there is a few more things to do - will add when I remember.

Only other event of (possible) interest, our dishwasher finally broke down this week. It's been on its last legs for about a year now, so it's not really a surprise. However, another is ordered and should come before we go. I can't cope with all this washing dishes by hand - it takes forever!!! My SIL had said to wait until the Christams sales - There spakes a woman whose never had a dishwasher!! Go from October to the end of December with no dishwasher!!!

I couldn't live without a dishwasher either. Even though I'm a stay at home mom, I am not a fan of the cleaning part of being home and could not do dishes.

Looks like you've checked off most of your to do's and are nearly ready to go.

I hope you take a lot of pictures while at Biergarten, that sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.

What is it before a trip that something has to break??? Sorry to hear about the dishwasher, but glad another is ordered. Your right, if you have never had one, you just don't understand. We get spoiled.

Glad you finally got to post Di. Maybe the two of you should compete to see who can post the quickest. I can only picture the two of you running through the house, knocking kids and things over trying to get to the computer.

Have I missed something? Have you gone off and left your toiletry bag before? You keep mentioning how you shouldn't leave it on the hook, which sounds like something I would do.

Wow, a week from today and you will be up and heading to MK by this time probably, were you planning on getting there at opening?

I really want to go next weekend, just so I can walk around and look for the family stopping in the middle of the pathways. My DH complains about me in stores just turning, taking off and not looking first. Of course when this happens, he is always right there, how come I don't run into people when he isn't.

Oh, are you going to do my favorite complaint? I so love it when I am looking at something and someone just steps in front of me and starts looking at what I was looking at.

One of my fave things to do is find someone who is looking intently at an item on a carousel display and then just whirl it round absentmindedly, oh how that amuses everyone

Di is miffed because she drafted a big reply on 'her' thread earlier before noticing she was signed in as me..............you have no idea how frustrated she is becoming

If you have ever seen National Lampoons European Vacation then you have a rough idea how I envisage my trip to the Biergarten unfolding, only with more slapping! I think the catchphrase for my holiday will now be "Gunter did it"
