WDW 10K Marathon sells out on first day.

Disney World Marathon Weekend 10K race got off to a flying start selling out on the first day of registration being open.
Registration opened at midday yesterday for all of the 2014 Marathon Weekend races, and the 10K race was already sold out by the evening of the same day. All of the other races remain available, with the current capacity being:

Marathon - Less than 50% Full
Half Marathon - 51% Full
Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge
Walt Disney World 10K - Sold Out
Family Fun Run 5K - 84% Full
Dopey Challenge - 85% Full
runDisney Kids Races

Kind of misleading because pre registration actually opened on April 3 I think and if you knew where to look anyone could sign up. But six or seven days is still pretty quick.

Dangnabit, I just found out they were on sale, was going to talk my wife into doing the 10k while I did the half again.

If you go to the runDisney site, click on Events (select WDW marathon weekend) and then on registration. Scroll down to Travel Operators...I work for one of those and we have spots for the 10K available. You have to act fast though! PM me if you want more details.
