on my first 2 trips to DLP in 2005 and 2006 the studios opened with a 'lights camera, action' thing in studio 1 every morning just before they opened the doors. when i went in august 2007 this had gone and they started just letting people through the turnstiles at park opening time rather than an exciting entrance :) unfortunately this meant we had to wait in the rain outside the park gates rather than under cover in studio 1. does anyone know if they are bringing this back or not because i wanted my boyfriend to have a little experience of it :lmao:

They did the lights camera action last summer inside Studio 1 :)

how odd lol i wonder why it wasnt there when i went?!

When we were there in November/December 2007 they also let people right into the park.
I think I red somewere that they stopped doing the "show" inside Studio 1 because the rush to Crush was to dangerous when they opened the door at 10am.
And now with TOT this could even be worse.

Can anyone give us an update on this who just returned from DLRP?

You're spot on - when I went in October the rush to get to Crush when the doors open was madness......everyone bunched up at the front. At New Year it was straight through and queue at your ride of choice - this worked much better for Crush. I did stay in the Studio at one point at 10am and they did still do it but a lot of the magic is gone with the light streaming in through the doors.

Like said higher they still do the ceremony but you can enter the park before. You can queue in front of the entrance of the rides. Imagina a queue from the entrance of Crush that goes to Studio 1, it's really huge!

thanks everyone. it makes sense why they're doing it that way now but it's a bit of a shame coz it was a good start to the day!
